Hellboy Vol. 1: Seed of Destruction

I don't know why it took me this long to start reading the comics, because this was great. I'm going to start reading more Hellboy comics from now on.

Action Comics #902
Batman: Gates of Gotham #2
Conan: Road of Kings #6
Mystery Men #2
Star Wars Jedi: The Dark Side #2
Superman #712

Slave Labor Stories #3
I like what I read of Darkman
Is that the volume written by Kurt Busiek
You mean the one from the '90s? Yeah. You may also wanna check out Busiek's work on Darkman vs. Army of Darkness, which sould be available in TPB form.

Captain Britain and MI-13: Secret Invasion tpb
The Spirit #15
Batman Incorporated #7
FF #5
Flashpoint: Project Superman #1

Currently: The Flash: Rebirth
Previously: Farscape vol. 4: Tangled Roots

I only read TPBs. I don't collect monthlies. The waiting really sucks sometimes, though. :csad:

Just read Superman: Earth One... What a pile of garbage that was!

It didn't add anything positive to the character, but managed to take a hell of a lot away, and add in a lot of selfishness and emo whining IMO.

But I'm sure I'm not the first person to have said that.

Superman: Kryptonite on the other hand, I thought was great. Loved the characterisation, and was a great take on how Superman feels about his own mortality, and how even tho things don't kill him, they are still scary as hell (like drowning in lava)

I'm two issues in to Superman: Secret Origins. Very much reminding me of Smallville so far, both in the discovery of where he's from, and the characterisation of the legionaires (which I suppose is no surprise because Geoff Johns wrote the episode they appeared in on Smallville.

The Punisher: In The Blood

Since discussing some old Wolverine comics on the boards last week, I dug out some of my comics for a re-read, the last story i read is one of my all time favourites, a good mix of adventure and humour.
It features this character, a bald black guy who wears glasses, who is constantly under the delusion he is a character from the movies, in the story we see him under the delusion he is not only Indiana Jones, but James Bond too, and are told that at one point he thought he was Dorothy from Wizard of Oz, so I don't know if that marks him out as a 'friend of Dorothy' or what, but it's certainly an amusing thought.
