The 'Shadow Fall' saga continues in Part 2. While Team Dark & G.U.N Soldiers battle the 'Black Arms' aliens, the two groups become separated in the labyrinthian maze of the Black Comet. Shadow then meets Eclipse, right-hand man to the alien's leader, Black Death.
Eclipse uses his powers to toy with Shadow's mind, turning him against his allies, leading to a cliffhanger ending.
The comic has a very sci-fi/horror feel to it. Lots of dark colors, guns, soldiers getting knocked off (no blood of course) this is definitely not Sonic Boom.
As usual, the artwork is great. There is a really nice two-page spread showing flashbacks of Shadow's past as Eclipse dives into Shadow's mind.
After games like Colors and Lost World, it's nice to see a more grown-up take on the popular franchise.
