What is the stupidest death in a movie ?

I know but I guess they were going for a Jaws-type female villian?

Haha, I forgot about that. Didn't she die from stepping in acid water or something?

Yep.
She came out of the water and pushed the boat, even though they were like 3 feet away from land.

Toad in X-Men. It's a cool death, but that damn Storm line ruined it.

Haha, that movie sucked.

I didn't know that they had it down as Toad and Sabretooth dying?

I remember Toad being in early X2 scripts, so I think he isn't believed to be dead in the movieverse.

Wormy - The woman who was Octopussy was an actress by the name of Maude Adams. It wasnt 'Live and Let Die' that she was killed in; it was 'Man with the Golden Gun'. She gets shot in the chest at a thai boxing match and there is blood. Only a trickle, mind you, as it's to emphasise how good and efficient a shot Scaramanga is - hence her still sitting up right.

The shot was so on the money that it killed her outright with no force to throw the body. Clean in and out job.
I stand corrected. :cmad:

It's not like me to get bond movies confused. :(
Christmas ruined.

Pay It Forward by far. The most useless thing I've ever seen and ruined the entire movie.

You know what else was pathetic? The idea that Linda Hamilton's son could reach the pedals of the truck.

Can't remember that bit... deleted it from my memory banks, the only thing remaining is the granny.

Padme losing the will to live.:whatever:

I think the fact that these are the exact words an ANDROID uses to describe her condition is what makes it so stupid. Women die in childbirth all the time.

Agreed! and personally, I feel the rising urge to b**ch slap Natalie Portman whenever I see that scene (I do know how to make the difference between the character and the actress, but in that case it's too much)!

I mean, here she is with TWO healthy babies and she "loses the will to live" (ie:decides to voluntary die) because her husband is a prick? What kind of ***** does that  If I had been Obi-Wan, I'd have struck her down with a lightsaber myself and the light side of the force be damned!

Sorry but that scene is just wrong

I can't believe no one metioned this. Lightening's death in "Big Trouble in Little China". I mean, how can one of the coolest mother****ers in a John Carpenter movie die such a pathetic death. Instead of being taken out like a badass, he was killed by a buddha statue. At least Rain and Thunder had memorable death scenes but Lightening got the crapper.

Well analysis showed that nothing was physically wrong with her....
......I hate Lucas so much.

The grandma in Dante's Peak

The worst part was the grandma was the only reason the stars were still on the mountain anyway. It pretty much invalidated the entire movie.
