I’ll go first. Eel.

Also crocodile but eel was probably weirder. And you?

Guinea pig in Peru.

I can't compete with eel or guinea pig, but, I don't know, deer jerky or a bison burger.

So-fresh-it's-still-moving octopus, and fish head.

Japanese restaurants rule.

Not sure what qualifies as weird, but I've eaten frog, eel, snail, seal and sea urchin gonads. Never had insect or reptile before, but I'd be open to trying it.

Jam/jelly and cream cheese. I was forced to eat it when I was in first grade, never liked this mix.

The one that freaks friends out is crickets in Oaxaca (which were good!)... but the most awful was a nearly raw blood sausage in Spain.

Not so much weird, but different; alligator.

It was yum

Pasta and baby octopus. I was fine eating the separated tentacles, but having the heads state at me was too much.

Last time I went to Dr. Lecter's house, I had this strange dish. But he wouldn't tell me what it was :o

It was long pig with a side of fava beans and a nice chianti.

He said it was Ray Liotta's brain, but it was really Jon Malkovich's brain.

Local:Ant eggs, Chinicuiles worms, grashoppers, a big insect whose name escapes me.

International: Urchins. Buffalo. I don't think Snails or eels count as weird or exotic anymore, but they are delish.

My new office has a butcher close by that has almost everything that breathes. I had kangaroo for the first time last week. I'm going to try gator next.

Cthulhu turned 90 years February this year, I think this is a fine time to have a bite of that thing, hopefully it doesn't turn me to one of its minions.

Frogs legs, moose and alligator.

I've seen a lot of moose in the wild and got to pet a few 'tame' ones. Tame meaning they were a tad less likely to trample you on purpose because they got treats from the people I was with.

It was weird because it tasted nothing like what I expected and found it bizarre to think of what it was I was eating.

Just a weird mental thing that happens sometimes when two things mash in my brain.

Ate beetle grubs once at Zoo. Cobra meat once. Snapping turtle soup once.
