I was actually a little dissapointed in the Hulk vs. Thor fight. Other than seeing Thor pwning Hulk with Mjohlnir. the fight was too short and too many cuts to other things happening.

The best fight was with Thor, IM and Cap. My second favorite was Cap fighting Loki. It showed that Cap may not be as strong as the others, but his fighting skills and strategy are unmatched.

My thoughts EXACTLY

Gosh, I liked all the fight scenes in the movie. You can't make me choose just one.

My favorite fight scene wasn't physical, it was verbal. The six-way throwdown in Banner's lab was epic. Everyone there took off the gloves and started beating the **** out of each other emotionally. Some of the shots they took at each other had to hurt just as much as the blows they traded on the battlefield, if not more.

Steve & Tony did the most damage to one another, shredding dignity and self-esteem with barbed words and carefully-aimed put-downs. The billionaire with daddy issues and a hated of authority went up against the ultimate symbol of authority who also happened to be his dad's idol. Those two were bound to come to blows, whether Loki influenced them or not. And each of them knew just what to say to hurt the other deeply.

Nick Fury also got in some good jabs against everyone but Steve and Natasha. Thor slammed every human in the room, and of course Banner zinged them all ("We're not a team...we're a time bomb!") The dialog was strong and every character landed a few solid blows on the others. While the damage was all emotional, one could see that all of them were getting battered. To me that's the best kind of fight because all of the action is psychological and based on character.

I vote Black Widow v Hawkeye because it deserve more love

Hulk v Thor would have been the best easily but ruined by editing :csad:

The best moment during all the fight scenes was the Mjolnir uppercut

Also I think it was cool when Cap says to Loki "not today" and starts a mini fight back with some cool moves

Good point, sorry for limiting this poll to physical fights Xeno. :csad:

I HOPE Marvel releases the Avengers tackling the Shawarma's :D

Oh yeah that reminds me, I should've added that option too.

Damn ittttt! :cmad:
hahaha
Tho The only one REALLY enjoying it like that was Thor, the rest looked like they were over full and slowing down. lol

Yep Thor was chowing down with Asgardian ferocity, it would've been even funnier if Banner was in his Hulk form.

Hulk vs Thor was great. Especially since Thor didn't use his hammer for most of the battle. I think that scene might be the first time we see Thor's strength, without the hammer, in anything major outside of the comics.

Banner looked like he was still going for it. I guess hulking out raises his appetite.:yay:

Well he was crushing Iron Man's armor with just his hand.

So many great lines in that scene. I loved the bit that started with Fury's "Remind me how you made your fortune again, Stark?"
Cap: "If he knew about it, you know Stark would be knee-deep in this."
Stark: "How did this become about me?"
Cap: "Isn't everything about you?"

I'm paraphrasing, but that's the gist of it. Tony and Steve really go at it. Too bad Tony never got a chance to take Steve up on his "Put on the suit" challenge!

Well Cap wouldn't...shouldn't stand much of a chance against Tony if he's in the Iron Man suit. Probably as little a chance as Tony would have against Cap without it.

Agreed.
My favorite fight was Thor vs IM, btw. It was epic!

I voted for Cap vs Loki, although if you are gonna bill the next fight as Thor vs Iron-Man/Cap, you should have billed this one as Cap/IM vs Loki, because when IM swoops in to the strains of AC/Dc it is one of those heart warming hero team up moments that the movie needed in order to work, there was more of this to come of course, but that was the best one, as it was the first meet up of the core Avengers onscreen, and because Cap was fighting a battle he could not have won.

But, yes, the main fight is between Cap and Loki, and what makes me like it most is the fact that he is , essentially, a guy with no *real* superpowers fighting an extremely powerful 'god', and doing his best to hold his own until the calvery arrives/people can get to safety.
The enterance scenario for Cap is perfect, and the way Chris Evans plays it is just right as well, like the character of CA on the whole, it could so easily slip into cheesiness, but instead is good old fashioned no-nonsense earnest heroics. 'I'm not the one who's out of time.' How easily could that have been cheesey? but somehow, almost magically, through the right degree of acting and directing and context, is played with the aforementioned qualities.

Sometimes it is good to see a hero onscreen who is not taking the piss all the time, lol, as they usually do with the one liners, that was a one liner, but it was more a statement of intent, just telling loki he was there to do the job.

I have watched that whole sequence, played through to the IM vs Thor fight, many many times. It is perfect superhero cinema.

Yeah it was great seeing Thor's strength without the hammer, he showed it quite a bit in A:EMH also.

That shot was so awesome.

Black Widow/Hawkeye fight. There was just something so raw about that one! I particularly loved the part where Hawkeye threw his knife from one hand to the other when the first hand got pinned by BW.
