The Question said:Here's how it should go:
Captain America: Starring Mark Valley as Captain America, the film follows Cap through his exploits in WWII. It's got the spy/thriller action of a Tom Clancy novel, and the sci-fi weirdness of a Doc Savage mag. Through the film, he has to fight the highly inteligent and coldly ruthless nazi assasin known only as The Red Skull (played by Liam Neeson). We also catch glimpses of a mysterious Nazi general only refered to as "Herr Kleiser."
Iron Man: It's James Bond meets the Six Million Dollar Man. Billionare industrialist Tony Stark (played by Tom Cruise), while on a buisness trip to Hong Kong, is kidnapped by a Tong crime lord and right wing fascist radical known as The Mandarin (played by Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa). The Mandarin holds Stark hostage for several months, forcing him to build weapons. Stark eventually uses his weapons to escape, but not before The Mandarin gets a good deal of tech from Stark's brain, which he uses to start a military coup. Tony, out of guilt, dons his newest i vention: The Iron Man suit. Using it, he tried to stop the Mandarin bloody coup.
Thor: Think a fantasy tale in a modern setting like Highlander, but with the epic feel of Lord of the Rings. Donald Blake (played by Viggo Mortenson), a surgion in Norway, one day finds an antique can. When he touches it, his mond if flooded with memories. He is commited to an insane asylum, until he escapes eighteen months later, displaying vast strength and a control over the weather. He knows who he is. He is Thor Odinson, God of Thunder and Prince of the celestial kingdom of Asgard. He knows his mission. To act as an emisairy for Odin, and bring enlightenment and the way of Asgard to the people of Earth. He begins preacjing of a better way of life, while using his powers to save lives and protect the innocent. But, he is opossed by an unexpected foe. His adoptive brother, Loki (Cillian Murphy).
Nick Fury, agnet of S.H.E.I.L.D.: Think of James Bond. Now, replace the high class English private school boy with a blue collar worker from New York, encrease badassery by a factor of ten, and you've got Nick Fury (Bruce Willis). Fury is the feild director of S.H.E.I.L.D., an international inteligence network meant to stopping global threats. When Fury's old war time foe, Baron Wolfgang Von Strucker (Ben Kingsly), returns, the old eye patched soldier comes back into the feild.
The Avengers: Nick Fury, at the behest of the U.S. and the U.N., puts together a special unit designed to deal with extra normal threats. He recruits Iron Man and Thor, unthaws Cap, and brings in Giant Man (Mathew McCaughnehey), The Wasp (Amy Acker), and Bruce Banner (Eric Banna) as genetics experts, and the first two as feild agents. Later in the film, we meet Hawkeye (James Marsters), and The Black Widow (Uma Thurman), two secret agents and remnants from the cold war. We also see Herr Kleiser (Ralph Fiennes) once again. It's basically Ultimates volume one in movie form.
