Sequels What Month Should They Release MAGNETO?

What do you think would be best release month for MAGNETO? A Summer release? Holiday release, etc?

I made a litle mistake in the other thread i vote there for December with Magneto in mind. So here i voted now for October with Wolvarine to make it good. I think that 6 or 13 December 2007 or 10 or 24 January 2008 is a good release date for Magneto and 05 October for Wolvarine.

November seems like a pretty good time for a Magneto movie, nothing to high profile would get in its way

November sounds good.... this shouldn't be a "popcorn" flick, so releasing it in the summer wouldn't really suit it.

i say november to show the cold haert of him wich will reflect the wether also for somereason november remindes me of cold metal in which he can manipulateand that will again tie into magneto as it is his power

I'm gonna say December. I think November is usually a little too crowded and Magneto as a solo flick is a little too low profile to go up against november competition. An X-men flick would work in November but Magneto would get torn up.

December is a month genre flicks can still have the benefit of people on winter break for and yet, wont' have as much competition. Mostly just holdovers from November to go up against.

Magneto is also too artsy sounding for the summer and if it is a good enough film, it could get oscar buzz by releasing it in the winter.

if i expect Magneto to be a blockbuster hit then i would put it
in the summer where it stands a good chance at being a blockbuster hit. ( june or august)

December always tends to be a bad month for movie hits
especially a superhero one.

i believe in letting as many of those school -hellions that are out
for the summer fill up the day-time theaters as much as possible to further
increase the overrall box office draw.

but if not summer -march (springbreak) would be a good one.

Hmmm when should magneto b released? Ponder....ponder....how bout NEVER!!!! No? Nevers not an option? Fine I guess january...I chose jan. Cuz it'll b great 2 start the year off wit a kickass marvel movie...even though I dont agree magneto deserves his own movie but its out of my hands

They should release Wolverine in May and then Magneto in October or November.

This doesn't really have to do with the 'month poll', but I thought I'd post this little tid-bit, because it doesn't really need its own thread:

I just got an e-mail from Tom Rothman, and he thinks Magneto might be out in 2009, but wasn't sure.

“It’s really soon to tell.” said Rothman. The most important thing is to get the movies right! If I had to guess, I’d say Wolvie in ‘08 and Mag in ‘09, but it could change.”

I agree with November as well. I get a "Winter" feel with Magneto. Maybe because of the dark, gloomy look of Mags origin scene in X1. I dunno...lol.

I'd say either May or November, I'd probably prefer May
