What movies that you have watched in the theater that you found so appallingly bad or insufferable that you couldn't finish it so you walked out?

Here's a couple off the top of my head.

Nine lives - Never finished the film and and now with the Spacey allegations I probably never will.

Fan4stic - This remains the one and only superhero film that I ever walked out the theater on. Walked out shortly after Ben finds Reed. I felt the strong urge to walk out they made the Thing's classic catchphrase 'It's clobberin' time" into something his abusive older brother would say.

Assassin Creed - This one broke my heart since I adore the games and left thirty minutes before it ended.

Last Airbender - I was so angry with so much of the butchering of a great show that I had to walk out for the sake of my sanity.

Sucker Punch and Green Lantern.

Never have. But two movies have made me really consider it...

Alice in Wonderland and Logan Lucky

I wouldn't say I technically walked out of it, but I was taken out of a screening of There's Something About Mary because my parents at the time must not have realized that I at the time was far too young to get some of the humor.

In hindsight, though, no idea what they were worried about.

None. I don’t see movies that are gonna suck. That said, I have been to some movies that I turned out not to enjoy a lot, of course. But none have been horrid enough for me to leave.

I never have but I did go and see two movies where I can easily admit I know im likely in the very small minority that did enjoy them as I can remember multiple people walking out of both films.

The Avengers (1998) Can even remember my dad asking me if I wanted to leave this as so many already had but I thoroughly enjoyed it so he had to bare it till the end lol

The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (2003) I honestly love this film have seen it more times than I can count and I still don't get the hate it got, probably because I've never read the source material.

This. I'm usually selective about what I go see. I'm seen some pretty meh movies in the theater, but none that were so unwatchable I had to leave.

Worst movie I've ever seen at the theater was 15:17 to Paris. Such amateurish drivel.

Suicide Squad, right at the time of them shooting at the possessed people by the cars.

Legend of Bagger Vance-Its OK upon second view but not a good theater movie for Junior high kids.

I’ve only ever walked out of one film, and that was Shark Tale.

Closest that I have ever gotten was with the first Paranormal Activity. Mind-numbingly dull.

I've never bothered with the sequels.

None but I can tell if I am going to like a movie or not from previews like 95% of the time and even thoughs 5% of the time I fell dissapointend most of the time I still like the movie at least some what. So its very rare I see a movie I dont like at all. Star wars 1 and 2 I should have left though.

None.
I go through with it and then make up my opinion on said movie, good or bad.
LOL at people online bragging about how they walked out of movies as if it was some act of heroism and courage.

I remember feeling the same way about this one lol the Disney version is one of my favourite ever films so when I seen this I found myself almost shouting at the screen

I've never walked out of a cinema showing, I've paid for that screening damn it, however I have walked out and acknowledged just how dire the film I've watched was. I can only think of two very specific cases right now;
  • Wrath of the Titans
  • Die Hard 5
I rarely just go to the cinema - it's usually because I actually want to see something, so it's not like I'm expecting to be disappointed or don't know what I'm walking in too.
