What movies do you consider perfect?

When Harry Met Sally
Silence of The Lambs

Neither of them miss a beat IMO

Strangelove
A Clockwork Orange

Yes, I'm a Kubrick fan :o

Barry Lyndon
The Shining
The Night of the Hunter
John Carpenter's The Thing
Grand Illusion
Alien
Goodfellas
Dog Day Afternoon
Deliverance
Taxi Driver

Etc...

I would also say Fargo is a good example of a modern film that's about as close to perfect as you can get. When the Coen brothers are on, they're really on.

The Dark Knight
All Akira Kurosawa films but especially RAN and Dersu Uzala
The Godfather trilogy
Breaking Bad (it is not a movie but i seriously cannot find a flaw, perfect crime drama, a seminar in acting, screenwriting and directing)
Rear Window
As far as hollywood blockbusters based on overrated material go Catching Fire is nearly a perfect movie. I don't know how they did but bravo.

TDK
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
The Big Lebowski
The Magnificent Seven
Rio Bravo

Toy Story Trilogy
Silence of The Lambs

I don't always give movies a 5/5 rating but I watched Flight with Denzel W last night and didn't have a single problem with it. It's a damn good look at the problems one faces being an alcoholic.

Perfect? i dont know. But as far as movies i consider as close to it as they can get, these come to mind:
The Godfather
The Godfather 2
Gone with the Wind
Lawrence of Arabia
The Sound of Music
The Wizard of Oz
Raiders of the Lost Ark
Ben-Hur
It's a Wonderful Life
Schindler's List
Raging Bull
Silence of the Lambs
2001: A Space Odyssey
Taxi Driver
Apocalypse Now
Alien
The Exorcist
Psycho
The Shinning
Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope
A Clockwork Orange
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
Se7en
The Lion King
E.T.
Jaws

The Silence of the Lambs.
Taxi Driver
The Devil's Backbone

I don't believe there's a perfect movie, but these are pretty close to the mark for me:

The Dark Knight Rises
The Dark Knight
Batman Begins
The Prestige
Conan the Barbarian (Not quite Howard's stories, but a well done film regardless)
Solomon Kane
The Mist
Silent Hill
Apocalypse Now
The Shining
A Game of Thrones (Closest thing to a perfect fantasy flick)
John Carpenter's The Thing
The Curse of/Night of the Demon (I get the titles confused for the US release. Among the horror films I've listed it is the most perfect).
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Pt 1&2

I see a lot of John Carpenter's 'The Thing' mentioned here :-)up:), but for me it has to be 'Halloween'.

In my opinion, it is the greatest horror movie ever made.

I can't really think of any film I'd reward with a "perfect 10" score; there's always something that bugs me in every one of them.

That said, there's many films I think are expertly crafted, and definitely worth watching repeatedly. Some which come to mind are "Back to the Future", "The Lord of the Rings", and the recent "Narnia" films, among many others.

As a hobby, I sometimes write my own reviews, but haven't kept at it for a long time. If you'd like to read some of them, let me know.

Die Hard
Raiders of the Lost Ark
Inception
Schindler's List
The Raid
A Clockwork Orange
The Lord of the Rings Trilogy
The Empire Strikes Back
Dr. Strangelove
The Big Lebowski
Fight Club
Snatch

Wall-E
Up
Fox and the Hound
The Lion King

..no particular order, they're all prett much 1a-d in my favorite films, live action just can't match what these animated films do for me haha. These four are no doubt in my eyes perfection, the rest are fantastic but these are the cream of my crop.

I'd also throw in
The Departed,
The Big Lebowski,
Shawshank Redemption,
Pineapple Express,
TDK and TDKR,
Troy,
The Usual Suspects,
Inception,
Beauty and the Beast,
March of the Penguins (Doumentary),
and Discovery Channels version of Planet Earth narrated by Sigourney Weaver (not a movie, but sue me I love it!

As all near perfect, or at least my favorites of films.

I don't know that they're perfect, but they're movies I can watch time after time and never get sick of, hard thing for a movie to achieve with me.

Great one. I got a blu-ray collector's box, including Pan's labyrinth, Devil's backbone and Cronos. Very, very cool stuff.

I'll have to see if it is available on amazon. I haven't seen Cronos or Devil's backbone yet but if I enjoy both then this box-set will be an easy purchase for me.
