With movies costing upwards of 8 to 10 bucks I know its hard to find a movie that you are willing to walk out of. Hell I sat through some painfull piles of crap just because I didn't want to waste my money. However there are a few movies that I went to see, or was dragged to that I walked out on.

About a Boy
Ghost World
The Animal (fell asleep in the theater)
Beloved
Gosford Park

so how about you? Where do you draw the line, get up and just say the hell with it I would pay 10 dollars not to see this?

Stepford Wives
The Village
Shark Tale

I came really close to walking out of POTC: At World's End:o

Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines
Hulk

I made it through the village just because I wanted to see the twist. to bad it was about as suprising as finding flys on dog crap
and seriously whats with M. Night having to put a twist into every movie? you know what would be a good twist. no twist. no one would see that coming.

You evidently didn't see Lady In the Water. No twist. And people loathed the movie because of it.

I have never walked out of a movie. A movie ticket is way too much money.

right i didn't go see Lady in the water after the village and unbearable I quit going to his movies.

I've never walked out of the cinema while watching a movie. You never know if it'll get better. Plus if I'm spening that much money on tickets then I'm watching.

I almost walked out of We Were Soldiers. It wasn't bad, just hard to watch in some parts. I also had to take my sister to see Legally Blonde 2. I didn't just want to walk out of it, I wanted to rip my eyes out of the sockets and then blow my head off.

I got dragged to "sweet home alabama" I wanted to walk out but I was there with my wife and a bunch of her friends, and i would have never heard the end of it. that movie was so predictable. i knew what was going to happen 10 minutes into it. here let me spoil the ending for you.
its a romantic "comedy" they are going to get together and be happy in the end. oops sorry, ruined that one for everyone

Except for the Animal, you walked out of some pretty damn good movies.

I've never walked out of a movie....I don't find it that hard to predict which movies will suck. Sure, there have been some that have let me down, but never so bad I've left.

The only movie I ever left in the middle of was Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. I'd only paid a dollar to see it, so it didn't feel like a waste of money. I'm a huge fan of the books, and the movie was just disappointing on all levels. About half way through I realized I just didn't give a damn about anything in the movie, so I left.

eh my taste, my choice
I have very odd taste in movies aparently, and my sense of humor is not like anyone I know, so I tend to disagree with a lot of people about movies, music, games, TV, women, Will Farrel. you know basic human distractions.
thanks for not cutting me down though. some folks seem to think I am the antichrist for not making it through ghost world. I appriciate your maturity.

Walking out of movies is out of this world stupid. :down

Only 2 that I can ever remember walking out of, Shallow Hal & Meet the Parents. I've fallen asleep in a lot more though.

I never have, I paid to see the film so however crap it is I'll watch it as I paid to.

I walked out of the re-release of Star Wars...within the first 5 minutes.
