I know there are too many seperate pirates 3 threads but i came up witha fun one. Based on the events in Pirates 2 what would or should be fitting for Elizabeths character to happen. I have a few ideas as what would be a very interesting concpet. I am quite certain they won't happen being it a disney movie. Some are funny ideas based on my certain dislikes the others are serious good story arc options.
I will post the options shortly.

All I know is that it's pretty obvious by the hints and forshadowing in Pirates 2 that Elizabeth and Jack will end up together.

Y'know that compass that always points to whatever it is that the holder's heart wants most? Look carefully whenever Jack or Elizabeth uses it...it's always pointing at the other character.

I don't care, as long as wees see a damn trailer soon:mad:

Where's the "this doesn't need to be a poll option."

Since she ain't gonna' die there are three options. She becomes her own pirate (the ideal ending), she marries Will by Jack (the Disney ending) or she falls in love and runs away with Jack (the fangirl ending).

It really doesn't matter after the second film but given it is Disney it obviously is gonna' end with Jack marrying her and Will and they joining him as fellow pirates thusly.

Where's the "death" option?
Its on there i have a option that says Elizabeth Dies saving Jack Or Will. Least us not forget the Eaten by th Krakan and Sharks option. That most certain implies death. Or Jack chaining her to a bed and tossing it over board. I have more then one death option.

you couldn't say it better

That's called dramatic tension, and you don't have to look carefully since they bash you over the head with it.

The lust for Jack is meant to add a dramatic love triangle and frankly it feels forced. There is no logical reason for it, and they don't even have any chemistry between them...well, none that isn't provided by the very capable acting talent of Johnny Depp. The resolution will be quite simple...in the end Will and Liz end up together...a lot of people ***** about it being the "Disney" ending...but it would also be the ending of just about every Hollywood film of yesteryear. It's a safe ending, but also one that people want to see. True love since childhood will always win out over bad boy lusting. Audiences want to feel good and Will getting ****ed over for doing the right thing while Jack gets rewarded for being a self absorbed asshat wouldn't sit well with most of the core audience for a family adventure film.

I agree on all aspects accept the Liz/Jack romance feeling forced. Liz has been infatuated with pirates since childhood. It makes sense that she would feel some raw attraction to Cap'n Jack. Although for it to go anywhere beyond that would be ridiculous.

wow, people here likes happy and stupid endings

MOST people like happy endings. Cliched endings in cinema are as important to a film lovers diet as fresh, edgey non-traditional endings are. Adventure films are what are called feel good movies.

I am a sucker for larger than life characters and well made swashbuckler films. They harken back to a simplier time in film, when romance was still alive and there was a sense of wonder. Will Turner is the dashing young hero and will end up with his true love, even if they encounter tough times to get to the happily ever after. Jack Sparrow shouldn't, and wouldn't settle down with any woman, and should exit the film the same ol' Jack.

other elizebeth has to battle a female pirate to save both will and cptn.jack

Yeah, that's most likely.

I highly doubt it's her and Jack getting together--even if there is more than simple attraction between them, it might be awkward now, seeing as she used said attraction to throw him to the Kracken. :o

shes not gonna be with will in the end. leaked plot details reveal that there will most likly be a 4th movie, but will is not gonna be in it, so in pirates 3, he either dies, or runs away do to the fact liz dosnt love him anymore.

and liz and jack are the strongets characters in the movie, so they live.

None of that has been confirmed, and the latest reports indicate ONLY Jack will be in a fourth Pirates film. Will and Liz will end their story in the third film, and I would bet dollars to dimes that they end up together happily ever after. Of course it will be a struggle to get there.

Ever hear of spoiler tags?

Whilst I understand your point, I couldn't disagree more.

When seeing the sequel, it is easy to see the forced relationship between the two. They should be friends at the most. In fact I'd rather Liz see Jack as some kind of cute pet that she outsmart any time she likes (like when they were stranded on the island in the original).

Will should be seen as fullfilling her, as he is honest, but also a true ass kicking machine. The combination of both worlds she exists in.

The triangle only exists because Keira requested she got off with the Depp.

I wholeheartedly agree.

The whole Elizabeth/Sparrow thing felt like something added to the movie for filler.

And even though I'm not a fan of these movies, Will's character risked everything for her in the 1st, risks again for his father in the 2nd movie, for him to be sh't on in the 3rd movie while more realistic would just be ridiculous.

Unless they do the true cop out of Will turning bad in the 3rd movie.

Wills obession about things including Elizabeth has always been in the movies. That when Jack says your totally obsessed with treasure. And then says not all treasure is silver and gold. I think Will if Will turns bad will be all because of bloody stupid Will like Jack sas in a deleted scene in Pirates 1 and it won't be Jack, Liz or eve Davy Jones fault.

I think the strangest things about these Pirate films is there are no rules. It would be the ultimate twist to have the Errol Flyn type character turn worser then Jones. I however do think they won't go that far. It just be cool. Elizabeth love will save him in classic disney form.
