whatever you get add a pack of diapers to it... you can NEVER have too many diapers...



a nice bottle set and warmer are always nice... some bibs... ask if they have been registered somewhere go to that place and pick an item from the list....

If they are registered it helps a lot, because you can be sure that they:

a) wanted the item
b) nobody else has bought it yet

Most places allow you to print the registry (or view it on line). Then you can buy the item elsewhere and report it to the registry.

Useful items:

Bottles
Diaper Bag (place to keep spare diapers, clothing, etc)
Extra Nipples for the Bottles
Blankets
Clothing (100% cotton accept no substitutes)
Wash Cloths (small, cheap ones, must be soft - for wiping babies bottom)
Wipes
Baby Powder

By the way, why is she inviting guys to a baby shower, those are for girls. The only person with a penis that should be at a baby shower is the father, it's a few hours of pain and discomfort for the nine months she has to put up with, well and the baby if it's a boy. Make sure to pick up some earplugs, the squelling could damage your hearing.

Ah, see he just didn't want to be the only guy there. You should've said that's more your wife and her friends thing and you'd feel out of place and that your are intruding on it. The husband/father is really just there to pack the car with gifts, he isn't really needed and he'll always be looking to trick another guy into going.
