I still think I would prefer a solo Spidey film before he starts popping up in all of these other movies. That seems so unnecessary. But there are plenty of interactions I want to see, Cap and Spider-Man, Iron Man and Spider-Man...

Captain America acknowledges Spider-Man as one of the most selfless, determined, respected hero he knows. Depending on who is doing the writing in the comics the relationship they have can be more paternal, or even more of a teacher/student thing, but I love when they have moments where Spider-Man's peers show him the respect he's earned. If I get to see that moment on film I could die happy.

This was a good fight, the next few pages Spidey gains the upper hand.

It boggles the mind that there are people out there under the belief that Spidey should remain with Sony. I mean he is Marvel's flagship character. I peruse these posts and I am filled with frustration and hatred for Sony. Is this normal? Yea, Sony you suck, for 3 reasons. Let me begin. You already destroyed Sega Dreamcast with Ps2, Kim Jong Eun released e-mails that your execs wrote regarding certain actors/actresses not being marketable overseas, and now because of your greed and arrogance you selfishly beleive the fans will be content without a Spiderman interaction within the Marvel frikin U. Ugh... I hope Suicide Squad and other DC Xover films become an instant success, so I can happily send you a "you suck" letter to Sony. Anyway, here is my participation in this thread......

Here's what makes this Spider-Man situation sad:

Spider-Man needs Marvel, but Marvel doesn't need Spider-Man (at least not in terms of movies).

Marvel found a way to dominate the film industry without Spider-Man, the X-Men, or the Fantastic Four under their cinematic banner, and they've made it work to the point that they were able to showcase Batroc The Leaper (making him look like a badass in the process) in the highest grossing superhero film this year!

Look at what they did in the most recent half season of Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.
They made Skye into Quake, and they made Quake an Inhuman! That's freaking awesome!

If Marvel gets their hands on Spider-Man, he won't even be the best part of the package. Villains like Venom and Carnage will.

Spider Man interacting with Captain America has always been a dream of mine, Peter Parker crossing paths with Steve Rogers or Peter Parker crossing paths with Tony Stark, I wonder what Tony would think of Peter Parker being Spider-Man? Or what Peter will think of Tony being Iron Man
