Seriously.

I'm just confused. I'm really amazed at how bad this movie really is!

When i saw the leaked edition and had heard the producers say that it lacks the re shoots and that stuff had been removed i was relieved. i love the opening but after they get let out of prison by stryker the movie falls apart. from there. then there's the love story element that was actually going somewhere. then after he escapes weapon x the movie goes downhill to the pits.

because there were scenes that i liked alot but the problem with the leaked version is the lack of continuity with the editing - plot points and whatnot. and i hate how characters just pop in and out. and while i have not seen the final version. it seems like lots of the bad editing was not fixed. or even the way that the fights were edited and sped up. they sucked.

and then there is the visual fx. i just went to ign.com to see some clips. my god. the visual fx just suck!!!

i feel bad for jackman. he was given poor material to work with.

i have defended the x films. i personally love x3 alot. and i liked how they made changes to the mythology of the characters to fit a movie audience. i thought it was tight.

the sabertooth and wolverine being brothers could have been real good. it could have been a social commentary on how complex sibiling rivalry really is and the the love story could have been a tragic love story. but i was just stupid.

And since sabertooth and wolverine do have a complex relationship it would've been really dramatic. when liev schiber said that this film would be shakspearean i got excited.

i liked the emotional appeal of the 3 movies and the social commentary.
the wolverine film just feels like a big toy for the kiddies to play with.

and now i'm hearing that they want to go ahead with the spinoffs and wolverine 2. oh my god. when will it end.

there is one possibility. maybe the dvd version will be the version that we were promised. maybe the visual fx will be better more scenes and so on. better editing.

i'm suprised terminator salvation did poorly and wolverine did really well. terminator salvation is a great film and it was just a perfect movie and because of the mood of terminator fans and whatnot the film bombed. whereas wolverine was a craptacular movie and it did well.

i don't understand.

much like spider-man 3, just because you hate the movie doesent mean everyone does.

i actually like spider man 3. i can understand why some hate it. but i LOVED it. while do think the spider man movies are overrated. i still like them.

the only flaw of spider man 3 is that venom is CRAMMED into the movie.

personally i think that eddie brock could have become venom at the end of the movie and the film could have ended on a cliffhanger.

i also disliked how they handled the voice of venom. venom never said "we are venom"

other than that i loved it.

my hope is Marvel will somehow acquire x men and reboot it into their franchise of Iron Man, Avengers, & Hulk and do it right.

While this film isn't perfect by any means, I personally don't think it is that bad.

Yea some cameos were pointless. Yea Logan didn't really show the animal. Yea some of the SFX were shoddy.

I think it is a good movie right up untill the last 20 or 15 minutes, where it does fall apart at the seams a bit.

But can I ask, what did you find stupid about Logan and Creed's relationship? I thought it was great. Shows the fine line between love and hate. And with Creed I got the sense he was sad just as much as he was angry about his little brothers "betrayal".
