What the heck is Namor's history with Sue Storm??

From day one,.... Namor had been trying to convince Sue to come over to the wet side.

She was written most of the time to consider his advances on many levels because he was such a bad boy.

There has always been an undercurrent between the two that if Reed were just slightly more of a Butt,.....

but that ended when she married Reed.


When REED turned up missing maybe dead,.... Namor showed up again and Susan pushed him away only because she was in the middle of looking for Reed.

Ah, that explains it then...I wondered about the "Your lips say no but your heartbeat says yes" bit...it's actually stolen from those old b/w movies from the 40s where the leading man always tries to tell the leading lady what she really feels. I think the classic line is something like

"Your lips say no but your eyes say yes." or some stuff like that...

Now all Sue needs to do is let her hair grow to mermaid proportions...Namor would be showing up at her doorstep every day with flowers and trouts. t:

I see in the first scan he tried a 'grab n' go...' although that ultimate version looks more like Keanu Reeves with Spock ears.

Then, I take it he and Reed aren't best friends. *snicker* It could get hairy if Namor shows up in CW#7 after his conversation.

She leads him on,... I never could understand why a woman who wants to "just be friends" is with another man and expects the man who wants to sexually thump her soundly to just shelf his feelings and "play nice."
