What things have way too much hatred aimed at them?
I'll start: Avatar.
I'll start: Avatar.
Everywhere I go people are ranting and raving about how bad Avatar is. What about this movie deserves so much hate?Really? I think Avatar gets too much love.
But I say Twilight.
Pochantas with Alien Smurfs. Basically Avatar's story. It's still a fun silly little science fiction movie. There's just not much of anything groundbreaking about it.
That's actually a really good description of Avatar.Pochantas with Alien Smurfs.

Definatly Michael Cera and the whole Apatow Crew. And Iron Man 2 being a commercial for the Avengers.
Bingo. I don't give a **** about groundbreaking style. I want substance and MEAT in my movies. There wasn't much of that to Avatar. It's mostly hated because it was so loved. People were going on about how it was the best movie of the year, when in a lot of people's opinions it was a really generic and mediocre sci-fi film with nice special effects and cinematography. Sort a style VS. substance issue.
I really don't get the Micheal Cera bashing.
He acts the same in every movie? So does Robert Deniro, Jack Nicholson, and Christopher Walken.
Movies need that. SFX should be secondary.
