I looked for a discussion like this and I couldn't find one.

I thought about titling it "Most Anticipated Movies of 2018", but since this year's only halfway through so I thought I'd make it about any upcoming movies.

The title pretty much says it all, so fire away!

Here are mine as of now, more or less in order of how hyped I am:

1. Thor: Ragnarok

2. Spider-Man: Homecoming

3. Transformers Bumblebee Spinoff (depending on how the trailers and filming look)

4. Black Panther

5. Godzilla 2 (Still a ways off, but I'm pretty hyped)

6. Infinity War (actually pretty much anything Marvel)

7. Maaybe Pacific Rim 2? (I was crazy about the first one a couple years back, but now I kind of feel like that ship has sailed, but I get the feeling I'll get back into it when I see a trailer.)

8. ...Star Wars VIII (Sadly my hype meter for this one is low, but I am a little bit curious how the storyline will continue, and hopefully the next trailer peaks my interest a little bit.)

IT, Spider-Man Homecoming, and Thor Raganork are my top three.

Black Panther
War For The Planet Of The Apes
Star Wars: The Last Jedi
Thor: Ragnarok
Spider-Man: Homecoming

At least as far as movies with released footage go.

Justice League and Episode VIII are my absolute must-see films for the rest of this year.

War of the Planet of the Apes
Thor Ragnarok
Star Wars VIII

I am borderline obsessed with Darkest Hour. It's a real problem. I check Working Title's Twitter page every day for updates. I legitimately cannot wait to see Gary Oldman take on Churchill.

Darkest Hour
War for the Planet of the Apes
Dunkirk
Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi
It
Blade Runner 2049
Justice League
The Shape of Water
Thor: Ragnarok
Spider-Man: Homecoming
The Snowman

Spider-Man
Planet of the Apes
Dunkirk
Star Wars

To lesser extents

Black Panther
Baby Driver
Ragnarok
Blade Runner
Atomic Blonde

War for the Planet of the Apes
Justice League
Dunkirk
Star Wars The Last Jedi
Blade Runner 2049
Thor Ragnarok
Spiderman Homecoming

Probably won't be able to see them all at the theaters.

Blade Runner 2049
The Phantom Thread

Justice League...maybe.

Dunkirk, Star Wars Episode 8, Spider-Man homecoming, and Avengers Infinty War.

The Last Jedi way ahead of everything else.

Then Avengers Infinity War.

Then Justice League (though with all the chaos surrounding that movie my expectations are pretty low).

HM: Shazam movie for 2019

Star Wars VIII
Infinity War
Justice League
Green Lantern Corps (if it actually happens)
The next Halloween movie
The Conjuring 3
Jeepers Creepers 3
Jurassic World 2

Radegund (Malick supposedly returning to more structured filmmaking)
All Those Sleepless Nights (the trailer is amazing and this kind of thing is my cup of tea)
Killing of a Sacred Deer (up for anything by Lanthimos)
The Last Jedi (more curiosity than anything else)
Loveless (supposedly the real best film from Cannes, and Zvyagintsev's last film, Leviathan, is a masterpiece)
In this Corner of the World (I've heard nothing but raves about this, and I want to see how Katabuchi follows up Mai Mai Miracle).

War For the Planet of the Apes. The new franchise has been exemplary.
Valerian and the City of A Thousand Planets. Luc Besson returning to Moebius territory.
Dunkirk. A big WWII epic in the vein of the ones from the 60's/70's.
Atomic Blonde. More John Wick style action.
Blade Runner 2049. Blade Runner is one of my top 5 films.
Kingsman 2. Really dug the fist one.
Justice League. Hopefully Whedon keeps his ego in his pants and WB don't butcher it.
The Last Jedi. Could be the most esoteric SW film we're like to get from Disney/Kathleen.
Bright. LOTR meets End of Watch. Sounds stupidly awesome.
Mute. Duncan Jones doing more hard sci-fi.
Gerald's Game. Mike Flanagan has evolved into a horror master.
Brawl in Cell Block 99. Really loved Bone Tomahawk and I'm excited to see what the director has next.
The Shape of Water I'm always a fan of GdT's work, I'm glad he's going to back to the territory of his Spanish films.
Ready Player One. I loved this ****ing book so much.
Death Wish A hardcore violent Bruce Willis action movie where I hear he's not phoning it in.
Logan Lucky Stephen Soderbergh making a white trash take on Ocean's 11.
The Age of Shadows. Kim Jee Woon tackling WWII.
Super Troopers 2. If you aren't looking forward to this, we seriously can't be friends.
Annihilation. Really enjoy Alex Garland's sci-fi works in both writing and his directorial debut Ex Machina.
Alita: Battle Angel Robert Rodriguez finally getting over the grindhouse joke and doing a real film again.
MEG Jason Statham fights a giant shark.
The Predator Shane Black returns to one of my all time favourite franchises.
Han Solo. The least necessary film of all time made by people who specialise in spinning gold from unnecessary films.
Mission Impossible 6 It's the action franchise that scratches the itch in a way Fast & Furious can't.
Aquaman Huge fan of James Wan and I get to see Dolph Lundgren in a big budget superhero high fantasy epic.
Triple Threat Iko Uwais, Tony Jaa, Tiger Chen, Scott Adkins and Michael Jai White in a martial arts throwdown.
Mandy Nicolas Cage vs a cult of demon bikers.

And those are just the ones you're MOST excited for? :o

Sorta off topic, but the listing of Han Solo makes me realize... why is Disney so set on cannibalizing itself between Avengers and Star Wars? The next two Mays have both an Avengers and Star Wars movie set to release (2019 having the last entry for the current storyline in both). Just keep Star Wars in December, god damn.

Honestly and sadly, i don't get excited for nothing in years now.....

Maybe Godzilla 2, for all the monsters on screen

Now...if we go for movies i'm not expecting much....Spider-Man and Thor are really up there.
Both trailers are awful....

Iron Man, Peter Parker being a youtuber, the ferry scene (which is basically the subway scene in SM2) and the all trying to land a plane; on the other side, Thor going "yeah" when he sees Hulk entering the arena and the line "he's a friend from work".........they make me cringe.

Same here. Had one movie i looked forward to this year and now that i've seen it, nothing else really hypes me up. I used to get extremely hyped back in the early days of comic book movies like Spider-Man, X2 etc.
