What villain is the best actor?

Same than the other poll, but now with the villains. Lets go with them:

Jack Nicholson: For me , the best actor of them. Three oscars, several oscar nominations, etc, etc. Probably, one of the best actors of all time. Jack is the man.

Danny De Vito: Another great actor, but less talented than Nicholson. Maybe sometimes his casting choices has been wrong in comedies not so good, but he is a very good actor and an excellent director and writter and producer. War of the roses was just brillaint, Hoffa was not less, etc. Also, he has been the producer of movies like pulp fiction.

Michelle Pfeiffer: Great actress. Movies like dangerous liasons, fabulous baker boys, i am sam, age of innocence, what lies beneath, white oleander, married to the mob, the russia house, love field, etc, shows her true talent. Maybe nowadays she is a little lost, but she has great talent to show it again. Also, one of the most beautiful woman on screen ever.

Tommy Lee Jones: excellent actor and director. His movie directorial debut was great(melquiades strada) and his carrer is fantastic( jfk, the fugitive, men in black, natural born killers, etc).

Jim Carrey: a great comic and a great actor. At first, only a comedian but a great one. Now , a great actor in comedy and drama. The truman show, dumb and dumber, man on the moon, the majestic, eternal shunshine of the spootles mind, etc.

Arnold Schwarzenneger: Good in his own registre, and that is action movies and some comedies. Not a great actor, but effective in what he does. Also, a great career( conan movies, terminator movies, predator, comando, true lies, etc).

Uma Thurman: Very beautiful and very talented actress. Kill bill, dangerous liasons, jennifer 8, pulp fiction, etc.

Liam Neeson: One of the best british actors today. Shindlers list, excalibur, rob roy, darkman, etc.

Cillian Murphy: a very promissing actor. He usually mix the comercial films with some independient films, and pretty good in both of them. His performance in breakfast on pluto was terryfic.

Christopher Walken: Oscar winner, movies like the deerhunter, pulp fiction, true romance, etc. One of the best supporting actors today.

For me, Nicholson is the best one, althougth almost all the others are great too. And for you?

Tommy Lee jones - Nothingness, the guy did a poor job

Jim Carrey - Only really good performance in BF

Arnold Schwarzenneger - Worst actor ever

Uma Thurman - Terrible

Liam Neeson - Very good

Cillian Murphy - Puke-worthy

So hard to choose. Even Arnold is a better actor than people give him credit for. T2 is proof of that. It's a lot harder to act emotional with a slight humanistic edge than most people think. You end up stretching too far one way or another. Arnold just needs a good director to really stretch him. He even had fantastic scenes in B&R, and to a further extent, great comedy scenes (since that's how he was told to play Freeze).

Jack Nicholson does everything better than anybody, so, ergo, he wins. Pfeiffer's a close second. DeVito and Walken (who's somehow not on the poll) are next.

Remember, we are talking of them in general terms as actors, not in the batman movies only.

Jack Nicholson, hands down. The man is a living legend. Michelle Pheiffer comes in next, than Liam Neeson, and Christopher Walken and Uma Thurman with an honorable mention.

Jack can play crazy-or focused-or maligned. So he should be winning,
But Chris Walken for the Dead Zone alone gets major props, Recently he's become more of a characature(sp) of his former roles-mind you not NEAR the extent that the 98% of the rest of the Hollywood comunity has passed off as acting-but he still has range...and he dances, which used to be a pre-req to acting.
