What was the last movie you watched? Part 2

Not on the same level as Fury Road, the story is disjointed and some scenes come off hammy, but the action is pretty spectacular, especially the attack on the War Rig sequence.

Venom The Last Dance
9/10

The third Venom is the last in the Sony Venom movie universe, and it is an impressive epic Science-Fiction Action movie.
Even though Venom (Eddie Brock) does eat human characters in this movie, the movie gives important information that the human characters are nefarious characters responsible for a heinous predatory activity that David and his brigade were also involved in the movie Fear.

What does stand out greatly is a brigade of Military Soldiers have impressive night vision on their protective masks which quickly changed to Scuba Masks which is an extraordinary technology that seems similar to extraordinary technology shown in the (1990) Total Recall movie, the great Dredd remake, and the Science Fiction blockbuster movie that is I-Robot.

The movie succeeds by having great messages, good dialogue, memorable lines, and making Venom the very likable alien creature similar to the T-800 in Terminator 2 even though it is a reprogrammed cybernetic organism.

Venom: The Last Dance is an impressive, hardcore, violent PG-13 movie that doesn't shy away from showing savage violence, like Jaws, Blade, the John Wick movie series, The Running Man, etc.
What stood out for the comedic scenes is Venom is dancing because the song Time of my Life in a Las Vegas hotel room, now I would want Venom (Eddie Brock) to be dancing using the Tony Murano disco dance from Saturday Night Fever because that would be very entertaining.

The suspenseful climax is impressive with a high amount of action and very high stakes, and I enjoyed it similar to Man of Steel because Rex Strickland had to use a not-perfect solution mostly because that's in the realistic interesting area instead of boring safe territory where a likable heroic protagonist can use a perfect easy solution with no drawbacks.

Rex Strickland is the Commander of Imperium which is a Military style organization created to capture Venom (Eddie Brock), so it is similar to the US Marshals because Eddie Brock is a fugitive.
The movie respects the audience because the lines stated by Rex give enough important information for why he would view the symbiotes as terrifying alien creatures that need to be studied, and controlled. As a result, he's not a poorly written cliched character that fears Aliens seeing them as an enemy because the script says so aka terrible writing.

Also, the movie succeeds in making him a likable character since the movie shows a strong believable reason why he changes since he stops viewing the symbiotes as terrifying enemies, and accepts them as valuable allies that do have the intention to defeat the giant alien creatures.

Eddie Brock does tell a lie to a kid character which the audience can understand it was for a good reason, and the kid does discover it's a lie except Eddie does provide an explanation that the kid can accept for why Eddie didn't tell him the challenging dark truth.
Venom (Eddie Brock) thanking a kid for giving him a candy bar stood out mainly because it shows he is an alien creature that can enjoy things the same as humans.

Venom The Last Dance has comedy scenes similar to The Mask, however, it still succeeds in being a serious Science Fiction Action movie with very high stakes, and a ticking clock similar to Speed, Terminator 2, The Fugitive, US Marshals, etc.

Much like other direct sequels including John Wick 2 and POTC 2 , this movie picks up where a sequel ended along with talking about information from the past 2 Venom movies.
What stood out in this movie is the epic high stakes, a variety of incredible action scenes, the impressive terrifying giant alien creatures as the main antagonists that are very challenging to defeat, also the symbiote got shown off including using a Horse as a host, and other animals.

The main antagonist has what Venom (Eddie Brock) wants, and the movie gives valuable information so the audience can understand why exactly the main antagonist wants it for a believable reason much like we can understand why Magneto in the (2000) X Men movie wanted to use Rogue to accomplish his goal to change humans into mutants.

Similar to Terminator 2 this is a fast pace very high-stakes sequel.
The main antagonists are impressive terrifying huge creatures similar to the Xenomorph Queen Mother.
The giant alien creatures have impressive abilities, and they are shown to have impressive thick skin that can withstand heavy gunfire similar to Wolverine, Spawn, T-1000, a T-800, ED-209 and Robocop, etc.

The ending is very similar to The Dark Knight Rises because it's a well-done earned open ending that doesn't have cliffhangers or sequel bait.
What could have been a huge plot hole is avoided because after the climax a character talking to Eddie Brock states valuable information that removes a flaw, along with mostly outright saying that Eddie keeping the alien symbiote creature long term similar to a dog or other pets just would not be able to work long term.
