The Wild Robot

This was a truly heartwarming experience. I knew nil about this film, just seen some pics. I didn't even know what voice actors would be here. And damn, Lupita Nyong'o now showed among other impressing stuff she can also play a convincing and excellent robot character lol (even though she of course got more "human" on the way). Pedro Pascal as Link the fox was great as well, and we also get minor but fun roles from Bill Nighy, Mark Hamill and Ving Rhames.

The usual moral issues in these animated movies were well constructed here IMHO. I'd say we even had something aaalmost close to a Borg Queen here lol (well, for a short while). And of course there's super dramatic as well as melodramatic high stakes in the third act, as it should in these flicks.

Over all a great animated flick that kinda surprised me, since there hasn't been much talk about this. Totally undeserved IMHO.

Bonus point for that really cool movie poster. Hepburn appears in three different places, and it all somehow works. Movie posters were way funnier back in the day.
