Apostle

Great horror cult movie IMO. Not perfect in any way, but I enjoyed it highly. Dan Stevens' performance was completely awesome as usual. Regardless of the success of this flick, I just hope Stevens will get more great roles.

Gutterballs

I want my money back for this and it was given to me for free.

Fairy Tales (1978)
I Am the Pretty Thing That Lives in the House (2016)

Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter

It's a decent thriller that falls apart in the final act with one of the most poorly developed reveals you'll ever see in a whodunit? but pulls it around a bit with a decent final scene. 6.5/10

Loved these movies when I was younger do they hold up well?

I was a big fan of Chevy, less so now I know he's a massive racist though.
Yes, they still make me laugh  I guess there's some element of nostalgia but Chase is definitely a funny guy.

Scream

I haven't seen this one in a long time and for the most part, it holds up. But at the same time... you can easily tell it's a very dated 90s movie. I was actually expecting the movie to be more meta than it was, maybe I'm just remembering the sequels.

Errementari: The Blacksmith and the Devil

Holy hell this was great, pun intended. It's a very imaginative fairy tale horror film that takes inspiration from Pan's Labyrinth and other period piece horror films like Brotherhood of the Wolf. It doesn't have a big hollywood budget, but it does a lot with what little is given to them. It does feel goofy at times and the acting isn't that well done, but it also does add a lot of charm to it. It's got a very old school view of demons and the devil which I appreciated, and I dug their design. I will say the movie starts out a bit slow and no nearly as impressive as the 2nd half. It's right when the movie takes place at night is when it gains steam. Overall, while it's not perfect, it's worth checking out if you're into this kind of horror.
