What was your favorite Nintendo console?

I'm a little on the old side, so I have to pick the original NES. It had a lot of tech issues back in the day, mainly due to the company's initial redesign in the first place...but it still provided a ton of fun for me as a kid. I grew up on games like the first three "Super Mario" titles, "Zelda" 1 & 2, "Mike Tyson's Punch-Out", and the original "Metroid"...which infamously had no maps or save rooms. Yikes!

There were tons of other games too; I loved all six "Mega Man" adventures, "Tetris" & "Dr. Mario", "Double Dragon"...and all these are just some of the notable heavy-hitters. There was officially a grand total of 1,391 games for the NES, including North America, Japan, and other territories. Not bad, for a console that dominated the market for twelve years.

Tough one, but I'd have to pick the SNES. The general store up from my street had games to rent and I would get a new game every weekend. Man those were the days.

My fondest Nintendo memories are with the GameCube. The N64 is a close second, to the point of being right on the GameCube's heels. What edges the GameCube over, for me, is its gaming catalogue, which was just brilliantly entertaining. I loved a lot of what was releasing during its lifetime. The N64 had classics, for sure, but the GameCube was just a blast all the way around; to date, I think that was still the most amount of games I've ever had for any console I've ever owned.

I've played many Nintendo games over the years, but the only console I ever owned was the Gameboy Advance SP, so I'll have to go with that.
