The Dark Knight What We Know So Far

you've seen it before it was with the [BLACKOUT]nurse[/BLACKOUT] stuff...

the fake batman one?.. yes i've seen that one. kinda looks like a mannequin though.. kinda wondering if we're gonna see the joker do some actual cutting?...

Doubtful...it's not going to be rated R.

I agree with Figs. We will see the finished product, but most likely not the actual cutting.

and now to something completely different :-) a thing wich came in my mind by reading in the rachel dawes thread. The: she could be the only reason for pushing dent and batman, if she dies....
now what about gordon???
Im talking bout the explosion in the trailer where hes hold back...now i dont know if it was mentioned before
but his son and wife could get killed in this explosion....maybe during the time where batman stopped his fight (was mentioned before somewhere) so now, i dont know if this causes gordon to destroy the signal, or is this going to happen after the joker made his threat and started to kill people..like the blowing up the hospital. If so, then maybe its the reason for gordon to accept that he is needed to stop him, cause his family dies.
im sorry this would be better in the speculation thread:-(

^ Well, there is a leaked picture to prove it. Atleast after the aplication...
I thought that leaked picture did not have a cut smile on his face, only some red lipstick drawn on it, but not cut.

Hm. I thought Dent was scarred by:

the gasoline that he was knocked over into. In the trailer we see him scream "NO" while on the ground, presumably tied, with gasoline all around his face. And not just any side of his face, the side of his face that is later scarred. Not to mention his entire suite is burned in the leaked photo. If you haven't seen it it looks more like a burn than acid. Acid = pink. Burn = black and flaky.....flacky?.....flaky. One of those.

I did too, until I read the copy of part of the script on a previous page, which I'm relieved at, as it would seem they are being rather true to his original origin.

Possible theory on Two Face's scars. It seems to me that the "gasoline" and acid could both be true. Acid could be thrown into Harvey's face. But, in the third trailer he is being held down to the floor with whatever the liquid is around his face. No one seems to have pointed out that some (not all) acids are flammable. Since we know there were 5 other mob members in the courtroom, is it not possible that they held Harvey to the floor to "burn some finishing touches of his makeover" into his face? And as for the shot of the foot kicking over the gasoline, it is also possible that could have come from the scene where Joker is burning the mob money.

BTW, the leaked photo of Two face was said (on Batman-on-film.com) to be an early test of the makeup on Aaron Eckhart. When I first saw it, I thought it looked more like burns than acid, but that was just my humble lil' opnion.

Just some extra thoughts for your enjoyment.

the scene where he is yelling "NO!" and the gasoline are two separate things, IMO. the floor on which the gasoline is being spilled is not the same surface harvey's face is being pushed into. now, i guess it could be the same scene, but methinks its just clever nolan misdirection.

the true story behind the explosion

so what about the explosion???? did i missed something ...aint it interesting enough? or what.....

I'm thinking also that it would have to be something extreme happen to Gordon (like a death) in order for him to turn his back on batman. or maybe a chain of events and one big one that does it

yeah need to be something relevant...its just, his wife and son have been casted but they never where mentioned .....

I guess Harvey gets too scarred.. But how can he still move his mouth with that kind of burns?

There was a scene filmed that was on one of the call sheets that mentioned Dec. Stephens calling Barbara, but I think that is all that is known about her character. I think it is probably possible that something happens to her or their son.

maybe he can only move one side of his mouth if nolan goes for the realism that would be kinda cool

I'm not sure where to put this so here is where I chose to. with regard to rebuilding of Wayne Manor. Wouldn't be relevant maybe at one point in the movie (SAY AT THE END) that they return to the Wayne Manor after it being rebuilt with a preview of the new Batcave with all the electronics in it now? :brucebat: Just an idea. Any thoughts?
