The Dark Knight What Will TDK's Rating / Certificate Be?

You don't think that producers would cut down TDK? It seems extremely darker like Batman Returns, so I personally thing they might.

Well, one of the main producers is his wife, Emma Thomas and I think they see eye to eye when it comes to his vision. Other producers like Chuck Roven really respect Nolan and I am sure he will compromise on changes that are brought up. But he wouldn't release anything that he didn't think was great or met his standards, which are quite high.

Ahh alright.. you seem to know an awful lot about that .....

Actually, I went to film school for four years and did my senior thesis on Nolan's films and the themes of identity crisis that link all of them. I was actually able to interview Nolan, Thomas and most of the people who have worked in his films as either cast or crew. :cwink:

Well that explains a lot.. I heard Nolan and co are really cool.

Really cool! I was shocked when I contacted his agent and they agreed to let me interview him and co (that was a long process working everything out with everyone's agent). But they were incredibly nice....

I actually got to meet him and get a pic with him out here in Chi-town. Again, really great guy.

Alaways nice to hear that a talented guy is also a cool person.

Ya it really makes me happy that a talented guy like him is really nice.

Even better. I think the whole TDK cast is like the fantasy cast I would want to meet. Already met Guy Pierce outta the way =) he is really nice too

The only famous person I've met is David Schwimmer :)

That's about it really, lol.

All in all, meeting the TDK crew would have been the bomb.

Funny Games is a 1997 home invasion thriller film directed by the Austrian Michael Haneke. The plot of the film involves two sociopaths who hold a family hostage and torture them with sadistic games.
Like I said before this is not for the faint of heart. This is one of the most disturbing violent movie I've seen in my life and there is no gore or blood onscreen (the power of suggestion). Keyword onscreen, your imagination takes you there and it's very unpleasant, I liked it cause it's got a very strong message (basically against Hollywood "plastic" attractive violence) and it's a work of art, but it's definitely not for everyone and of course not for children.

I saw Pink Flamingos my humanity left after I saw that movie. I don't mind subtitles

I know you're a screenwriter, if you ever watch it just imagine how different it would have come out if done in Hollywood. But for the last time, it is not a very pleasant experience. I was using it as an example of a movie who doesn't show much in terms of violence and still can be ten times more violent than any slasher films even the hardcore torture porn ones.
