What would getting to be friends with a real superhero mean to you? How excited would you be? What would make you stand out to be chosen for something like that? Would you have freedom and interest in moving to live in the same town? What kind of time and effort would you be willing to invest in superhero type causes for good?

That's a lot of questions...ummm... i guess it would be fun. It really depends on the superhero.

It would be difficult for me, as my incredible natural beauty would make me a target for supervillain kidnappings.

Does he have super-bill paying powers? No? Then as a grown man in my 30's it doesn't mean much.

No way I'd be able to keep their secret ID, I'd blab to pretty much anyone the second there was a lull in the conversation.
Sorry was that suposed to be a secret?:O

Like MJ in the Spider-man trilogy? She sure was very attractive since every villain Spider-man faced kidnapped her.

The opportunity to manipulate someone with more power (and less brains) to work in my favor. Friendship is always an opportunity.

Why yes, I do believe that was the joke he was making. Thanks for clearing that up :o

Depends on who it is. Superman would be everyones friend so no one would really care. Spider-Man gets hated on constantly by NYC so people would probably dislike you in turn. Someone like Captain America or Batman would be cool as they are pretty awesome but you might get kidnapped and/or murdered to spite them but them's the risks to buddy up with the spandex crowd.

Just being 'good friends' with women like Spider-Woman or Black Widow would be more than most men could take though. :oldrazz:

I wouldnt live long. Non super powered friends of superheroes dont last long, unless they have been with them since the beginning.

Thanks for the responses everyone. They brightened my day and amused me.

Let's pretend what some of this superheros characteristics would be. He is by far mostly on the human side, like Batman or Iron Man. Beyond that let's say he has a superpower where at will he can have his body saturated with the feeling of being like a superhero or god in a way where it gives a huge boost to confidence and fighting ability. He's a realist and considers the main domain to help mankind at a level like a superhero to be intellectually with powerful ideas to help tons of millions of people. He also likes comedy a lot though and could imagine investing millions in things like a Batman suit, batmobile, and paying people to stage a crime so that he knows magically right when to drive up in his batmobile and save the day in front of security cameras.

Imagine what if you could be with him from the beginning as well as work to become a superhero as well.

Would you truly want to be friends with a "real superhero"?

Would a "real superhero" even want to associate with someone who fanboyish enough to have an account on a forum called "Super Hero Hype"?

Would a "real superhero" even acknowledge you as someone of significance unless you were someone significant to that "real superhero" before they became a "real superhero"?

Would a "real superhero" want you to know they were a "real superhero" knowing that as a fanboy on a fanboy forum, you are prone to either gathering spoilers to discuss with your "friends" or are potentially the source of spoilers for movies about superheroes?

Why

Would

He/she evenwanttobefriendswithyou?

I wouldn't ever want to be associated with a real superhero because I'd be the first person the villain would target for kidnapping to torture him/her.

Threatening
If I know the civilian identity, but don't connect it to the super alterego, then I'm fine

Is Amadeus Cho dead?
