Not neccessarily what you've read will happen but what you'd like to happen with...

Spider-Man
The Hulk
Fantastic Four
The Avengers
X-Men
Wolverine
Iron Man
Captain America
Black Panther

Spider-Man - I'm having a great time with the unmasking storyline and pretty much all of his titles have been great through Civil War. So, if they keep up the quality, continuity, and great action we've been getting I'll have no complaints for Spidey

Captain America - Let Brubaker keep doing what he's doing and we'll be straight

And I don't read the rest of those characters and hope they all die in Civil War. :yay:

I think that suring the Ultimate Clone saga, that Peter Parker dies and David Currie takes over.

Since he's gone public, I think it'd be cool if he joined the NYPD. Taking Spider-Man from a crime noir/cop drama angle would be a nice change of pace, and a nice nod to Earth X. Maybe they could have him head up a special unit that deals with paranormal/superhuman crimes and, for the sake of the city's moral post Civil War, does their best to keep it out of the papers and under the radar.

He should hook up with a new Defenders team. They could be portrayed as one of the most powerful forces on Earth, but because they answer to no one, they have alot of people really scared. The Hulk could be used with that very well.

Fantastic Four

I think they should go back to their roots. Leave Earth for an extended period and go exploring across the cosmos.

The Avengers

They should become a U.N. sanctioned team once again. Dealing with major global catastrophies too big for anyone else. Maybe even put them at odds with my "New Defenders."

Post Civil War, the faculty of Xaivier's should become a government sanctioned anti-terrorism unit as well as private school teachers. And theyn should get a writer who can balance that very very well.

Spider-Kurt! said:
Wolverine

He should cut down to one solo series and one team book. Might be cool is he became an assassin for the government with the X-Men's new status in my idea for them.

Spider-Kurt! said:

Iron Man's a tough one. Really, he should serve as an epsionoge agent/paranormal operative for the feds. His stories should be a cross between James Bond, the Six Million Dollar Man, and the X-Files.

Captain America

I think it would be cool if he reconciled with the Military and they played up on the dirty aspects of his job. I had an idea for a third identity for him called the Black Eagle. Since Cap is so public, he preforms the really dirty aspects of his job as the Black Eagle as to not sully his reputation and retain his ability to work covertly.

Get rid if Hudlin.

I hate all your ideas except getting rid of Hudlin.

Do you honestly hate all of them? I mean, I can certainly see why a few wouldn't be to the likings of some people, but what's so bad about The Hulk joining a new Defenders team?

I just don't think it would make sense Post-Planet Hulk. Why would he trust a new team consisting of people he probably hates as well?

Because the Defenders were all cursed by Dormamu to be eternally bound to one another on a spiritual level and always come back to each other time and time again even though they all hate each other.

Yeah, that's stupid. Sorry, it wouldn't make sense, it just wouldn't.

"What's Hulk doing here, didnt he try to kill us?"

"Yeah, but you know Dormammu"

It does make sense and is one of my favorite aspects of The Defenders. They all loath each other completely, and yet are compelled, time after time, to come to each other's aid in spite of that. Besides, it's not something I made up. It was established some years back.

Yeah, but things are different now, real different. Hulk is not going to chill with these guys, the only way he'd work with them is on some cosmic scale earth destroying threat, and even then he'd think twice about it.

He'd still be forced to do so. You know, curse and all.

Which like I said earlier, is stupid, real stupid. Either way, I really wish they would establish bruce Banner again, like, dude, do we forget that Bruce banner is the Hulk.

So, you're grounds for ignoring that part of the continuity is that "it's stupid," despite the fact that you can get very good stories out of it and it's that kind of aditude that has wom Marvel many complaints in regards to it's continuity in recent years.

Just because its in continuity doesn't mean its not stupid, and I never aid to ignore it, I'm just syaing its hokey, and slightly corny. And the Hulk as is now, it be incredibly idiotic to see him team up with people he plain doesn't like, which brings me to the conclusion of not establishing the Defenders at all again. I can't even see Doc Strange and namor working with a team right now either.

I'd like to see captain america team up with union jack and work for MI6 or something.

i'd like to see spidey have a final face off with norman osborn...especially since osborn is spidey mortal enemy yert he seems played down at the moment.

i'd like to see hulk take down the Mighty avengers.

I know that there was word that 07 was going to be a big year for Spider-Man, so I look forward to what will happen with him.

Spider-Man-Wakes up from a coma and realizes the last years of his life were a nightmare all the way back to "The Other". Ben Reilly has been filling in for him. They explain what really happened during that time in the first arc, Ben Reilly helps him re-establish his secret ID.
The Hulk-I'd like him to come back to Earth, but I like him more where he is right now. It's a shame he couldn't be part of Annihilation, that would have rocked especially if he was still getting back to his normal levels.
Fantastic Four-Don't read them. But I would like that they kept the family together and got rid of this stupid separation between Reed and Sue.
The Avengers-That Bendis wasn't writing them.
X-Men-That they stopped trying to remake X-Treme X-Men. I'd like to see them be a little more like a task force where they actually select the best people suited to what's happening and not just throw in whatever characters are available (or the writer prefers as it's usually the case).
Wolverine-Non-immortal, skillful Wolverine, please! A Wolverine that gets hit constantly like he was some rank amateur is played out. I wanna see another berserker rage like in the ol' days when even his fellow X-Men gave him wide berth in battle 'cause it was possible that Logan would try to beat them up also.
Iron Man-I've tried getting into the character, but I never can. I read the Extremis arc and it's yet another attempt to upgrade Tony without the armor. Is this the same Marvel that people compare to the "overpowered" DC? They kinda look the same to me.
Captain America-I'd like for the Red Skull to turn Cap into a woman temporarily and see how he deals with that. How Agent 13 reacts to that. But mostly I want it to happen so he can get into a cat fight with Maria Hill and beat the crap outta her.
Black Panther

Have someone else write BP. And that person retcon that stupid moment where he meets the Inhumans and Black Bolt asks him to make him a voice box. I'd rather it be that BB asked him to do something else and T'challa is covering by saying it's a voice box.

Darthphere! No more posting until you post in your battle, Thread Three. GO!

... what sucks is I actually have no authority to really make that claim.

I'm on it.

Thank you!... oh, right... umm...

I like the idea of Spidey working with the cops for a change, might be interesting, but he shouldn't be doing it a lone. a small team might be nice. So long as the team doesn't include Felicia I'm happy.

Cap. I think after this he's going to need to take one of his long emo-sulks about the direction america is headed and why nobody loves him anymore.

Tony Stark should have a falling out with most heroes, not just anti-regs, but those he used on the pro-reg side. drive him back into his alcoholism, and maybe take him back to the roots of his character.

Hulk... I want Hulk to become the new galactic hitchhiker. have Hulk catching rides from planet to planet to get back to earth, occasinally mumbling about "squishing stupid Shell-Head" and others. Somehow he runs into a planet that is obsurdly like earth (Some major differences, but suprisingly similar heroes) including a female beheamoth known as "The Incredible It". begin romance.

Fantastic Four, Reed trying to be more of a father to his kids, and trying to repair his relationship with Sue, causing them to drop out of the Fantastic Four. their positions are filled by Storm and T'Challa (who are still technically on their honeymoon).

X-Men, as the 198 begin to discover that their governement and the X-Men lied to them, they aren't alone, the begin to demand to leave the Xavier institute, eventually overpowering the sentinels. they lie: You are the last. Mutants are showing up all over the world having survived M-Day, but having gone into hiding. now the mutants are breaking out. the title focuses on not just those who remain at the school, lead of course by cyclops, but also on the newly liberated 198 lead by Toad.

Hmmmm.I never knew that stuff about the Defenders. Is it the version with the Hulk, Silver Surfer, Namor and Dr.Strange?

Yes.

I like some of those ideas by the way. Especially the ones about Black Panther and Storm temperarily replacing Sue and Reed in the Fantastic Four, the more skillful/less immortal Wolverine and the anti-terrorist X-Men that uses various members for whatever the situation calls for.

What I'd like to see is Iron Man seeing the error of his ways and capture every one of the supervillians that he has on his task force.
