I'd like him to come and film a day in the life of me. Action, adventure, romance, heart string pulling dialogue. My life and James Cameron are perfect for each other.

^Also I like his female characters more than his male ones.

Same here. "Get away from her, you *****!" is still one of my favorite action movie moments ever.

I just hope he doesn't wait 12 years to release another movie. I'll see whatever he does next.

if he will be able to go in space then it will take a lot years. if he will only go underwatter once then i think in 4 years ? maybe?

if he does end up doing 'the dive' a small budget picture I think a lot of people will go thinking it is a blockbuster and I bet it is advertised as such as well.

'THE DIVE'

'from the director of TITANIC and 'AVATAR'

Didn't Cameron want to go into space so he could make a documentary or something? He wanted to film Mars and the other planets in 3D.

But for his next film, I don't care. I will watch whatever he makes next. The Dive does sound like an emotional film and wouldn't take too long to make and release but Battle Angel will be his next big thing I reckon seeing as he has got a script and some pre-production work for the film.

Cameron has said in a recent interview that he is glad he made Avatar first and not Battle Angel because he has learned a lot of stuff. He has said that it is difficult to have real actors interacting with CGI characters in 3D so he probably needs to perfect a method before doing Battle Angel.

I reckon that he will do The Dive, followed by Avatar 2 and then do Battle Angel because he would have perfected methods and available technology.

I think if he wee going to do battle angel, the only CG character would be battle angel herself unless he decided to make the entire movie cg

why not ghost in the shell then? better story, string female lead, stronger background cast. strange one. I'm sure if he does eventually make this he will go into more detail why he chose BA.

I don't think he has the rights to GiTS. Plus it is more cerebral and would require better acting and less spectacle. Battle Angel fits him better.

I hope for Avatar 2, but he should do whatever he wants.

Seeing as Battle Angel is set in a futuristic city I can see the city being CGI. But the problem Cameron said is having CGI characters interact with live action objects and characters in 3D. He said it is easy to do so in 2D but 3D has some challenges.

Personally I can do without another Avatar. I'd rather see Battle Angel Alita.

i desperately want to see his version of Battle Angel. i don't care if he does his Avatar trilogy first, but he MUST do Battle Angel before he leaves this Earth!

Although I'd love to see more of Pandora, I think it'll be wise for Cameron to wait a few years before delving into Avatar 2 instead of doing it right away. I hope that he can get BA off the ground first, because that has been his obsession for the longest time and there's no reason why he should keep waiting, esp. since he has the right technology to make it work.

Battle Angel, if only because I don't think we need an Avatar sequel.

I have mixed feelings on one hand I want him to make the avatar sequel. I wqant to see more of pandora and the other planets but more than anything else i want to see more of jake and neytiri and the navi and them fighting another alien race which would be the only logical way to go with part 2.

On the other hand I would love to see BA. It would be amazing but I stil think the cgi required to do a completely photorealistic human looking cyborg in full cg has to be perfected. Because she has to look mostly like a real human with some cybernetic parts showing, its tougher to do than a blue alien.

Spielberg was able to pull it off in A.I.

She can't look TOO human, that's the thing. Her face will have to have some uncanny valley too it because she is mostly machine, so it's gonna look somewhat plastic.

That was my idea for Astro Boy if it was live action: Make him real but leave some uncanny valley elements in his face (over exgerated features). As if he's a Disneyland animatronic character.

A live action movie adaptation of Thundarr The Barbarian.

He's in talks for 2 more Avatar movies, and he has bought the right's to a Hiroshima story...
