Just about everyone knows about the Crime Syndicate which is the mirror JLA thats evil. Where good always loses and the Villains rule the world with an iron fist.

How about a mini series detailing the origin of the Crime Syndicate...starting with individual origins of the various members being fleshed out and then detailing how they banded together and took over the planet...

I think it would make for an interesting story to see how they got rid of segments of the hero community and it would make for really cool cameos of Big DC Villains' heroic counterparts.

It could make for a really cool story with endless possibilities...I can't see anyone saying they would pass on it if they put some real A list talent on it...

Does anyone have anything they would like to see? Any specific characters that you would wanna see good/bad versions of?

I'd like to see Sinestro still a yellow Lantern, but in this universe yellow is the color of will instead of Green.
Darkseid would be neat to see too. I guess all the roles of the New Gods would be reversed.

Oh! An evil version of the JSA who worked for the Nazi's in world war II would be really neat to see!

Well on the Sinestro front...does Power Ring's ring work the same way as Jordan's in our world and if so what about the other emotions in Johns's rainbow corps?

I can't imagine I'd stick with a series that is literally just a dark mirror version of the JLA for too long. It'd probably get stale pretty quickly.

Minis, though? I'd be up for a few more of those.

well I was looking at it in terms of a 5 issue mini or even a 12 issue maxi...

I don't think an ongoing would work either...

again it would be a series to really flesh out that universe and allow for some interesting story possibilities down the road...

it also has promising cool cameo character moments like a good deathstroke or an evil Connor...

Maybe if there was equal focus on hero version of DCU villains. I think a super hero team of mentally ill crime fighters made up of hero versions of Batman's rogue's gallery has the potential to be crazy awesome.

I think the basis for his power is very similar to Alan Scott's.
So Sinestro could actually still be a Green Lantern. The colors could be reversed though. Red is love, orange is compassion, yellow is hope, blue is fear, indigo is avarice, and the star sapphires are hate (which could be hilarious and might not work).

I think an ongoing might work if the heroes of the universe are made the main characters.

I think this would be an awesome concept but it probably harkens to series like Empire or Irredeemable or Nemesis.

Overdone? Maybe. Depends on the writer and the delivery.

OK then who would u suggest to work on the book?

I hate to say it.........Morrison?

Millar wil overblow the whole concept and I doin't know if Waid would like to revisit this concept again.

Since Morrison re-introduced (?) readers to the modern incarnation of CSA, he might be the guy with a firm grasp of the team. I like his Owlman I guess.

Dwayne McDuffie? I love his take on them, giving them this Costa Nostra feel. Very good concept.

ME!

To actually answer your question, though...

Before he started getting really weird and abstract in a not so good way with DCU characters, I might have said Grant Morrison. Now, though... I'd say Brain K. Vaughn. He's brilliant when it comes to long sory arcs, fleshing out big casts of varrying moral states, and handling weird concepts.

I think seeing the CSA climb the ladder and start their rule on their earth could make for some great story potential...

It could be like an Anti-JLA year one maxi and who the hell wouldn't get behind something like that...

Maybe they would show Superwoman snapping a good Max Lord's neck FTW! lol

It'd be more interesting to see Superwoman allow good-Max to live because she thinks he might be useful later, causing Ultraman and Owlman to get mad at her.

But if she did that then you would have all kinds of people on the hype arguing that its not in character to let him live and give all sorts or grotesque and gory options on how he should have died...

you would probably have 5 different threads going on at the same time and people viciously attacking each others viewpoints....cuz everyone knows that Villains Kill!!!

I think it would make a good limited series. I always like seeing different takes on characters.

Wouldn't the Nazi's be the good guys in WWII?

Me too, especially time specific pieces. An origin for instance, of where/how the switch happened. Abel killed Cain?

Would he be Lightseid?

I do want to see Ultraman's battle with White Martian.

HAHA!!! I guess they would be.
So would that mean that Vandal Savage in this universe is actually Abel, and still a villain?

I'd like to see a Crime Syndicate mini written by James Robinson. His Justice League may be boring, but I love the way he's writing the CSA, Owlman, Superwoman, and especially Ultraman in particular.

I would check it out if it featured their alternate world, with the alternate heroes and everyone else.

I would read that it sounds like a fab idea

I agree Millar would suck he is a terrible writer

I think Morrison should write it

Or Gail Simone or James Robinson

I'd like to see a series where the heroes are still seen as by the general public, and the "villains" are the true heroes and have to work against publicity.
