With all the great and vast elseworlds stories, there is no reason why a lot of our favorites couldn't be in continuity. Just think, there could be an Earth for:
New Frontier
Kingdom Come
Red Son
True Brit
DKR
JLU

I suppose this would be similar to hypertime, but it would be finite and controllable.

Your thoughts? What Earth would you want to see?

My thoughts? Not everybody reads 52 on Wednesday, ass.

My thoughts: I made this before reading the issue.
Didio ruined it for you in week 37ish.
Ass.

A legion of superheroes planet. I think it may have been done it already because DC has the silver age legionaries back in the JLA/JSA lighting saga storyline and the other legion planet could the current Waid Legions of Superheroes.

Its weird how they did not include letters like the COIE, but I will take numbers. I think it would confuse readers if they said 52 planets, and some had letters.

I would like to see an Amalgam planet- full of the dc/ marvel crossovers, even if they were not all good.

A speedster planet for sure, and they could tie it in as the place for the speed force (but the problem is that is some kind of dimension and not a planet, or if they were to have it as a planet, the speedesters would be in trouble if some villain blew it up causing the speedsters to loose there power and doesn't Bart have the speed force in him?). I also think that Wally west is living on one of those earths, with Linda and the twins.

Alex Ross "justice" planet, which is a Superfriends planet, but taken Seriously.

Would Bizzaro world be considered one of the 52 earths or is it not an earth because its spelt Thrae?

Batman Beyond Earth

All Star Earth- Home of the "Goddamn Batman", Morrison Superman, etc.

I would love to see how creative the writers will be with releasing minis or ongoings. To have a Fawcett Comics Earth, Earth 5, would be great. Seeing how BIlly Batson as Captain Marvel and not as shazam, takes care of business with the other Marvels and it could have that campy feel because its out of continuation or just in the Earth 5 earth.

The only thing I can see is the possibility of people living one Earth to track another villain on a different earth. I would want to see it kept to a minimum
so that the earth could live on its own without influence from other earths and causing them to leave there earth for a better earth.

I'd like to see designations for the continuities of Frank Miller's Dark Knight Universe, the universe of Red Son, Tangent Comics, the DCAU, the Milestone Universe, and if Warner Bros got their **** together a movie universe (Batman Begins, Superman Returns, Wonder Woman, etc.)

I like your ideas but I would also add an earth for the Timmverse (I know you said Batman Beyond, but I would change that to the future of the Timmverse). I would also add a New Frontier earth and a Kingdom Come earth.

Thanks Trusty. A Timmverse would be awesome! Having the JLU comics and Batman The Animated series being connected into the DCU would be cool.
The Kingdom Come universe was Earth 50, in issue 52 of lol, 52. I would like to read more stories about Kingdom Come earth. Here's a link to the other universes and summaries of issue 52.

Earth 17 with Uncle Sam sounds like a bad mother. Seeing the U.S. Spirit as a rebellious group compared to the normal Nazi regime. Nazi Superman vs. the American Spirit that is Uncle Sam? I'll take several helpings of that please!

I also liked hippie's movie universe thing. They only used up 9 earths and they have a remaining 43 Earths remaining to do as they want. I think it would cool to just have all these different out of canon stories or art styles be in canon, but in the DCU on there own planet. They don't need to change the storylines, just put a logo that says Earth 34 for the Justice League Unlimited comics.

I can see how it may cause new readers to be confused, or to show favoritism towards certain comics under these labels, but that happens if the story telling isn't there. I think they should not go overboard and come out with 60 comics a month that are Earth 3 JLA, and Earth 20 JLA. I don't think DC could afford to publish 60 titles a month because of them being multiple earth books. As long as they do it right and make it somewhat reasonable and affordable to some degree, then I don't see a problem. Some minis here, maybe an ongoing there if the demand is there, then do so.

New Genesis and Apokolips would not be earths, they apart of the 4th wall. So that could mean one Darkseid, Mr.Miracle, Orion,Granny Goodness, Parademon, Forever People, etc. in the Universe. That rule would only apply to them because they live outside of the Earths.

And Shazam! the Monster Society of Evil! book could be the early telling of Captain Marvel on Earth 5.

Elseworld's Finest could be a Earth, with a female batman and female superman. Infinite crisis showed a cool earth with all female batman villains and the super heroes were female as well.

The only limits are the writer's imagination. Hopefully, DC will keep the earths and not wipe them out. Who knows what will happen after Countdown, and I hope Wizard will feature a summary for Countdown as they did with 52.

The Spirit could have his own earth
Y: The Last Man Earth

The New Earth ( which has some of the characters from previous Pre-Crisis Universe on one universe)
New Frontier
Kingdom Come
Timmverse (BTAS, STAS, JLU, BB)
Golden Age Universe ( Earth 2 Pre-Crisis)
Silver/ Bronze Age (Earth 1 Pre-Crisis)
Batman Begins Universe
Superman movie universe (Reeve Films and SR)
Burton/ Schumacher Universe ( 89-97 Batman films vaguely 97 at least)
Dark Knight Returns Universe
The Milestone Universe
The Wildstorm Universe
Wonder Woman Tv series (1970's universe)
Batman 66 universe
Serials universe ( Superman, Batman, Captain Marvel, Blackhawk)
Adventures of Superman 50's tv series universe
The Flash (1990's tv series universe)
The Batman Universe (current cartoon)
Unlimited Powers Universe ( concept by Bilson and DeMeo of an older Flash, Blok, a new Green Arrow, and Dr. Occult in the future form a new JLA after heroes have been outlawed and the villians are in control)
Superboy Tv series universe
Filmation DC Universe ( Filmation Dc heroes with Batman, Superman, Green Lantern, Atom, Hawkman, Flash, Teen Titans,JLA, and Shazam)
Alex Ross " Justice" universe
Amalgam universe
Tangent Universe
Super Friends Universe
Elseworlds different universes Gotham by Gaslight, Batman having GL powers, etc.
The Legion of SuperHeroes animated universe
Teen Titans animated universe
All Star Batman Universe
All Star Superman
Fawcett Universe (Marvel Family and other Fawcett heroes and villians)
Quality Comics Universe ( Uncle Sam and Freedom Fighters)
Charlton Comics (Vic Sage Question, Captain Atom, Ted Kord Blue Beetle, Peacemaker, etc.)
Titans Tomorrow Universe
Superman: Man of Steel Universe
Superman: Birthright Universe ( which maybe the New Earth origin?)
Crime Syndicate of Amerika Universe
A Universe with the JSA starting now instead of in the 1940's ( with Superman being the 1st hero having Batman, Wonder Woman, and updated versions of Green Lantern Alan Scott and The Flash Jay Garrick in new uniforms and other JSA members other teams excisting would be the All-Star Squadron , Freedom Fighters, and Infinity, Inc which would be that Earths Teen Titans)

You might wanna separate the All-Star Universes between All-Star Bats and All Star Supes. They're really two separate worlds.

I love that article from Wizard. I cannot wait to see the other universe!
Love that updated earths from COIE. Actually adding to them!

Thanks Anubis!I wrestled with that, I have changed it, it does make better sense.

Earth-1
Earth-2
Earth-3
Earth-X
Earth-S
Rossverse (Kingdom Come, The Kingdom, Justice, Batman War on Crime, Superman Peace on Earth, and the WW and CM ones)
Watchmen Earth
Whatever Earth features the earliest Golden Age Batman stories, when he rocked a handgun.
DCAU Earth (perhaps the best Earth of them all, really)
Marvel Universe (just so all those DC-Marvel crossovers could conceivably be in continuity, as suggested by one of the later JLA arcs)
WSU
An Earth on which it isn't cool to **** with a perfectly good character like Deadman by giving him a ****ty-ass Vertigo series, thereby sullying both the character name and the Vertigo line, two things which were impeccably wonderful before.
Millerverse (DKR, DKSA, ASBR)
The !mpact Comics Earth (I don't care, those books were awesome)
Batman Begins Universe
Superman movie universe (but only if it includes that awful Steel movie with Shaq)
Westiverse (Batman 1960s)
Smallville
Burtman Universe

I think that DC should do a run with each Universe just little one shots, and I say this because I want to see Dan Garrett and Vic Sage again :D, plus Earth 17 looks pretty interesting.
Now, if only they did something were the Multiverse exists in a Hypertime like space that has different possible Universes including our own and the Marvel Multiverse and the Dark Horse Multiverse and such..

I think the reason why they killed off the Question is because the really popular version of the Question is the Timm created conspiracy theorist nut job version which is inspired by Rorsach and is more of a brawler from the Charleton comics so then when he gets put back into the DC world, he can be that version instead of the zen buddhist master of martial arts.

So how are they deciding the 52 worlds?
Are they just bringing back worlds that Crisis on Infinite Earth destroyed?
Will there be a Charleton Comics world, putting Blue Beetle, Question, Nightshade, Captain Atom, and Peacemaker, back in their own world?
Will there also be Earth 2, and the Crime Syndicate of Amerika world
(you know Superwoman, Ultra Man, the Owl, and Power Ring) lived?
What about a JSA world? Weren't the JSA from a seperate world too?

I would want those world back, they were interesting. I lik the idea of a Kingdom Come Earth as well, although I wonder what Alex Ross and Mark Waid would think about it.
I would also want a Frank Miller Dark Knight Returns World, were Batman is old and grizzled, Superman is old, other heroes are old and some are bitter and grizzled. It would be fun.
Not sure but a Bizzarro world might be fun.
Definately a Bruce Timmverse World, where every one is drawn in his style like in JLU, Batman, Batman Beyond, Superman, and so on.
and I would love a Batman Beyond world. I miss that show and a comic would be a great chance to continue the characters and maybe even take their stories into more mature subject matter.
Burton/ Schumacher Universe or an Adam West's Batman World might be good and fun. Not everyone hated these eras, my soon to be Brother in Law loves the Adam West version Batman and all his campy glory.
Fawcett Universe world would go along with the Charleton Comics world, seeing as these characters used to belong to other companys. But only if DC didn't take Captain Marvel and his family, or the Fawcett characters, out of the DC regular world and put them into their own world. Have the other worlds be alternate versions.
Amalgam world would be great but I don't know if Marvel would go for it.
A New Frontier world would be AWESOME, but only if Darwyn Cooke wrote and rew it.
I think they are already using this world, the Future Teen Titans world.
Alex Ross " Justice" world would be cool too, even if Alex Ross only did the covers.
I don't know right now what other worlds there should be.
I would like there to be an ongoing Elseworlds series. maybe something with an adult Damien Wayne as the new Batman (with an army of the League of Assassins)
Maybe a Teen Titans (animated series version) world, but don't know how that would be any different from the current Teen Titans Go! comic.
What about a world like Young Avengers or Avengers Next, where the offspring of the DC heroes are now young adults or teens. There could be the son (or daughter) of Batman and Wonder Woman. Actually thats all I have for that world right now.

I will probably think of more ideas for worlds later.

He wasn't a Buddhist he was a believer of Objectivism
In the DCU, he's become a Buddhist. Read his series. Anyway, the Question was really never as much of an Objectivist as Mr. A was.

Anyway, I really hope they explore Earth-17 and Earth-10. I can just imagine an Earth-10 Justice League style book, because the League is on the side of the Nazis in Earth-10. And obviously, Earth-Ross needs to be explored further. But then, I didn't hate The Kingdom and Hypertime as much as everyone else apparently did.
