Didn't see this thread anywhere - unless I missed it.

I'll kick it off with the a somewhat benign, but funny sequence when Cap hijacks the VW Bug to get to the airport in Germany. Bucky asking Falcon to move his seat up and getting denied was hysterical. In fact any time those two interacted was.

Then there was also the moment when Scott Lang got inside the Iron Man suit and gave that line about being Stark's conscience and having not spoken in a while.

It's the character moments that really make these movies for me.

Cap not constantly jobbing to everyone like some people wanted for some reason.

The best thing about Civil War is that every character , no matter their screentime , gets their own individual moments to shine which can be difficult to pull off in an ensemble movie.

Tony Stark not being portrayed as some kind of mustache twirling villain like he was in the comics Civil War.

Zemo being a calculating villain who actually survived. Liked that no one died, hate how some people NEED or WANT someone to die for stakes stakes stakes, so silly.

Wasn't sure if this was a spoiler thread so just tagged it.

What is jobbing? It sounds dirty...

I'll put just a few lines here for now...

Hawkeye: "Hi, we haven't met. I'm Clint."
Black Panther: "I don't care."

Spider-Man: "HOLY S**T!" (i.e everyones reaction XD)

War Machine: "Okay, tiny dude is big now. He's big now."

Ant-Man: "Something just flew in me!"

Iron Man: "Hey Clint."
Hawkeye: "Hey man." (Just the casual way he says it. Like they passed on the street.)

Bucky: What the hell is that? (Not who, what...XD)

War Machine: "OH C'MON!" (As he shoots a fuel truck flying at him)

Everything story in this movie i like all, especially 3 big icon Marvel Spidey, Ironman, and Cap play together in the best mcu film first time...Marvel have the future

Aside from all the obvious great things the movie has (pretty much everything) I loved Vision's behaviour during the airport battle,he basically chooses not to fight his friends,he mostly just wants to stop the fight.

I liked the fact that this movie is presented in a way where I could be both team cap and team iron man at the same time!

You are sympathetic towards both characters and u just want them to stop fighting. Its makes u care deeply for the characters.

You could understand the motivation of all the characters (except for scott lang and Hawkeye).

Lastly I am grateful that my fave character-WS Is given an crucial role and has major screen time!

Stark: Give me back my Rhodey!

SPIDER-MAN: That thing (Caps shield) doesn't obey the laws of physics at all.

STARK: Okay anybody on our side hiding any shocking and fantastic abilities they'd like to disclose? I'm open to suggestions.

I'm actually glad that Bucky wasn't the one who got beat up by everybody like all the previews/commercials showed. In fact, there was really nothing new, as far as Bucky getting beat up, other than when he got webbed at the end of the fight but that was pretty much it.

Bucky's action scenes. Especially the one against the German police.

I literally lol'd when Bucky throws the guy down the steps and Cap has to catch him and gives Buck a disappointed look and says "come on"

Big fan of that Falcon guy. Would love to see him in more movies/franchises.

So much I loved, but the entire Ant-Man sequence was just NUTS. From when he's on Hawkeyes arrow to being Starks "conscious" it's hilarious. But when he grew the entire audience just went silent together for a "HOLY ****" moment. Lang waving Warmachine by the leg and laughing maniacally (gotta love Rudd) was worth the admission price alone.

Agreed. He flew around a lot in TWS and had some guns, but I couldn't see how he could go head to toe with the other Avengers. They actually massively upgraded his tech and his experience/skills to the point that (aside from a bit of ropey CGI here and there) he was a badass. Russos did great work with him.

I loved how I went into the movie Team Cap. Then once we got to the scene where the team was arguing about the accords, and each member of team Iron Man explained why they supported the accords, I felt like I was agreeing more with Team Iron Man. Then Cap opens his mouth and explains his view and suddenly I'm back on Team Cap. The fact that this movie can make me so unsure about my own ideals with just a few lines of dialogue is insane.

lol then at the end when you realise that Zemo's plan and thus EVERYTHING in the movie, including T'Chaka's death, was all just more fallout from their fight with Ultron and their lack of responsibility over the whole affair.

It really was great how evenly they portrayed both sides of the argument.

Vision.

The humor was fairly well placed, and felt more organic than usual.

I did like the "team being torn apart" angle more than I thought I would.

Spider-Man...... Spider-Man.... Spider-Man..... and even more Spider-Man.

GIANT MAN

That they kept the idea of the prison in the film. That Zemo was a good villain - we get few of those, hope like Loki and kinda Winter Soldier they keep him around.

Black Panther. Dude can kick butt! Would say the other word, but - "language."

Cap's still fighting the good fight.

All around this is a great Cap and Avengers film.

I wasn't as worried about Bucky, but there were these obnoxious debates about how Cap couldn't possibly stand against Spider-Man or Iron Man, so you can imagine how pleased I was with the outcome.

Bucky got some really great fight scenes in too.

One thing I really liked: The careful balance of the humor. I love jokes but I felt Age of Ultron went overboard and used them in inappropriate times that sucked all the tension out of the scenes. But during the final battle when things get serious? No humor. No Tony quips or snark. Just quiet fury and deadly precision.

I'm still chewing on everything. My wife's favorite part had to be Sam and Bucky in the Beetle, especially the final reaction to Steve and Sharon kissing.

The debut of Giant Man! Was NOT expecting that but it was such a great moment

Im glad Rhodes was forced into retirement. IMO, Don Cheadle was looking quite old in this.

an ensemble within a "solo" film. IA that everyone was utilized quite well. Amazing feat

Evans/Downey were great.

Action scenes and hand-to-hand combat. The teamwork and everyone uses their different abilities/powers strategically.

Zemo being a low-key more-or-less regular Joe Shmoe and not a stereotypical supervillain, and not being after world domination or power or anything.

Black Panther and Spider-Man

Crossbones was badass in his brief screentime

Both sides being sympathetic and their actions understandable and plausibly motivated

The brief bit where Steve/Bucky were reminiscing about the old days. Needed more of that, IMO.

Sam/Bucky's bickering
