Pokemon and Skateboarding. Pokemon was the worst. I collected over a thousand first print cards and then to get over the fad I gave them all away. Unaware that there was people worse then me on ebay willing to buy it, I gave it to my friend who sold them on ebay and bought a PS2 and an Xbox when they were new. Goddamn.

I laughed then; I'd laugh now. POGS, of course. Quite possibly the most pointless, time, money and energy consuming fad ever. Toward the tail end of elementary school, there was a POG mafia at my school, and my closest friend was the POG Godfather. He basically took people's POGS, sold them for profit, and gave like 10 percent of the profit he'd made off other people's POGS to those people, keeping 50 percent for himself, and doling out the other 40 percent in the form of POGS or change he was paid in to his helpers.

He had like, kid goons that shook down people for POGS or POG money owed, it was...interesting.

I truly regret my Jheri curl. It took like a day to get done, it was a b**** to maintain, all the spraying & glops of gel & crap in my hair. Then I combed the front into bangs, which broke out my skin from that greasy crap sitting on my forehead. Then came "Coming To America", the movie which I hold singularly responsible for discrediting & destroying that hairstyle altogether.
