It's the first in the series of GNs. I've also read the second GN entitled "The Long Road Home". Both were fantastic. There are two more GNs but I can't find it at my local libraries. It seems to be that the GNs are all prequels to the novels because Roland was still in his teens, at least in the first two GNs.Is that the Comic Mini?

Been wanting to read the novels but I'd like to start from the first book. Looks like I might have to order the boxed set. I didn't realize how good the story was until I picked up the GNs. I think there's a plan for a movie. Have you read the novels?
