I got news for you. It isn't a trilogy; it's an 11 book series and there's 3 more books that haven't been released yet.

:wow: oh no... the 3 I have are borrowed, where will I ever find the rest???

Anyhow, finished the 2nd book. Much better than the 1st, it was no longer an echo of LOTR.

just finished World War Z

awesome book, perfect companion for The Zombie Survival Guide

anyone who's read it has a favorite chapter?

mine's Japan's gardeners

I liked the apartment building in Long Island with all the rich people hiding out. Oh, and the chapter with everyone going north to Canada, running out of food, the father trading the radio, tough chapter that one.

i work in a College library and ive still havent read World War Z yet, i have to check it out

Just get a library card and put a hold/reserve on the titles you need, and have them delivered to your local branch for pickup.

Finally was able to read Private Parts by Howard Stern.

I had read his second book Miss America a long time ago but everytime I would go to buy Private Parts no book store would ever have it. Though I was able to obtain a copy and finally got a chance to read something I have been wanting to read for almost ten years now. Heh.

Great book and Howard is such a brilliant person. I love how ignorant some people are when they just label him. Great read. I read all 600 plus pages of it just in a few days so that tells you. From his childhood to which celebrities he likes and dislikes to exposing the hypocrisy of this society. It's just a fantastic read.

Ba Ba Booey!! :woot:

I finished the Sookie Stackhouse novels [TrueBlood, if ya'll don't know]. They were a great summer read, finished each book in a day... some of them two in a day. I was on vacation while I read them though, so I actually COULD get two done in one day. :D

The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger.

No idea what I'm gonna read next. I have a few choices to take with me on vacation.

Just finished:

Star Trek New Frontier: Being Human

About to read an issue on Fantasy and Science Fiction that I got for free at a con.

The Ultimates vol 1 & 2
I recommend it to anyone just getting into comics. Great art and story

The Entire Sookie Stackhouse Series, it was good. Can't wait for more!

I liked the first 6 books of his Sword of Truth series. After Faith of the Fallen, it just became such a chore to read his books that I lost interest in what happened to any of the characters.
