Magic Mike
Not so magic, especially watching Kevin Nash trying to dance.

Shadows and Fog
The end is a let down, but I laughed while being impressed by the the overall look of the film. An underrated Allen flick.

Sightseers
Sightseers does lag in a during a few scenes that could've went towards some development in other areas, but I easily overlooked that due to laughing from start to finish.

Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy

40 minutes in and I had to turn it off. I didn't understand s**t about what the f*** was going on.
I'm not gonna waste more time into something I'm not enjoying.

The Sting (1973)

I can see why it's a classic. Great storytelling and performances. Especially Robert Shaw.

La Femme Nikita (1990)

Far better than any of the TV shows it inspired (And I liked the one with Peta Wilson!). Luc Besson is easily one of my favourites, he's in that league with the Wachowskis, who can make high brow art with action movie elements, or action movies with high brow art elements.

Trading Places (1983)

Still a very pertinent film today it seems. 80's Eddie Murphy was a total boss. So where Jamie Lee Curtis' boobies.

My thoughts exactly although I saw the whole thing. lol

Unbreakable

Speed Racer

I have an irrational love for that movie. I heard that the idea started as a television show. Really wished that had happened.

Anyway, the last movie that I saw was Peter Jackson's The Frighteners. The whole time, I'm like, how is this the guy that directed LOTR?? I liked some elements (Michael J Fox, charming as always, and I really loved the CGI Death-monster-thing). Other things I thought were pretty stupid.

I typically don't watch a film and its sequel within the same week, but I think doing so helped me to better understand and appreciate both.

Watching Dark Shadows now. Really not digging it at all but I'll finish it cuz I'm watching it with a friend and he seems to be liking it

Flight, can't believe I saw Sophia from The League like that.

3/10

Neveldine/Taylor should stick to doing the Crank movies.

Silent Night (2012) 7/10 It's a decent low budget slasher film. It doesn't have much in common with the original film , but has plenty of homages.

V/H/S 8.5/10 I liked some of the segments more than others , but they all had good twists. It's definitely a lot of fun for horror fans. I can see the found footage style being an issue for some viewers though.
