Topkapi.

I watched this purely because it was mentioned by Chris Nolan as one of his influences...and you can really tell. Honestly, I can't believe I've never heard of it before. Pretty much every major heist trope is interested into the film, in pretty unique ways.

Lincoln
9.5/10

Bruce Gellar said it was his inspiration for creating "Mission: Impossible". I guess he wondered to himself "How can we have adventures like this, but every week? I know, change the thieves to spies! I AM A GENIUS!!!" :word:

The Expendables 2.

I think my 4yo stepdaughter enjoyed it even more than I did. "My favorite part is where they cut the guy's head off. That was cool!" :o

Seeking a Friend for the End of the World

The Dark Knight Rises: 9.5/10

The Amazing Spider-Man: 9/10

@Ccon: Don't leave her alone with your pets.

Hah. Yeah, she's a bastard. :o

Monster House.

One of the absolute most underrated movies of all time. If it were made as a live action movie in the 80s, it'd easily be mentioned in the same breath as ET, Ghostbusters, etc.

Hi Super, long time no see
What's your favorite of those, and which one is your least favorite?

Hey Spider, I enjoyed all the movies, except a few i liked the least were Drive Angry (bad acting and story) and Almost Famous (was a bit boring).

Your stepdaughter sounds awesome.

Hostel Part III

I feel Netflix owes me money, now.

Life of Pi ( in 3D) 9/10

I thought it was a bit slow in the beginning , but after the shipwreck I was completely drawn in. The cgi is incredible. There were times when I forgot the tiger wasn't real. It's a deeper film than I expected. I liked the religious theme and the ending was clever.

Yeah there was some amazing CG work in that movie. They honestly believed those were actually real animals. It will be a damn shame if it doesn't get any technical awards (and writing).

Superman II (1981) - original theatrical cut

Dentention (2011)

5.5/10

I like Joseph Khan as a personality but that can't get in the way in how I feel about the movie: It tries way too hard. Really really hard. I know it's suppose to be transgressive and satirical but it didn't do it for me. Plus Dane Cook's in here so negative half a point (To be fair he was good in Louie)
