Dead Man Down

A solid neo-noir with a bit of over the top action thrown into it. I feel like this is the closest we're gonna get to a proper Max Payne film. I thought Colin Farrell did a great job considering it's a role that fits him. I love the look of the movie, the constant dark clouds over New York fit perfectly. While I do enjoy Noomi Rapace's performance, there was a few minor story details that bugged me. Dominic Cooper did a fine job and Terrence Howard just feels out of place. Overall, it's worth a look.
8/10

John Carpenter's The Thing (1982)

The Mark (2012)

Some god awful rapture movie I rented on a whim. Eric Roberts really does say yes to any role they offer him. Dear Christians, if the rapture where to really happen, I doubt Bangkok would be affected in the slightest.

Jack the Giant Slayer - Deserved to Flop/10

Godzilla 1998 - Someone will it out of existence/10

Independence Day - Classic/10

Saw Spirit of Vengeance yesterday, still stupid crap film, with some hilarious moments
3/10

Angel Heart 9/10

Judge Dredd 5/10 (so bad it was actually funny, so it gets points for that)

'Man of Tai Chi'

Plot was a bit thin, but other than that I quite enjoyed it.

The Mask of Zorro
The Legend of Zorro

A solid 8/10 for both. Really enjoyable films, great swashbuckling adventures.
