Watched it just now. It doesn't look too bad to me, but I am disappointed

that it isn't more like the original [REC] 2 and am also unsure how I feel about it looking more like a normal film and not with the "caught on camera" perspective the films are known for

but I'll still see the movie, regardless.

First time seeing this movie. I really enjoyed it. Carrey is amazing in it, he did a great job of making his character genuinely sympathetic and undeniably creepy throughout and was also funny many times throughout. He was great at being his usual over the top and theatrical self but still able to inject subtle sympathy and menace into his character.

The movie is pure fun and lively even though it's predictable, it helps having a director from Brazil since the whole movie feels like a sightseeing tour in Rio de Janeiro.
