I guess this is supposed to be a kids or family movie since it's CGI and released by Nickelodeon, but it's a cleverly written and visually stunning comedy western, paced like a film for older audiences and not dumbed down at all for the younger crowd. A rare treat in American animation.

I wouldn't take smaller kids to it though. Most of the ones near me seemed to get bored after awhile. And it's rather violent for a PG movie nowadays.

An interesting beginning, a missed opportunity in the middle (not to mention very dull), and a decent action film in the end.

"Smokey & The Bandit"

I enjoyed this a lot more than I thought I was going to. It was a lot of fun. I might even watch the sequel to it later this week.

The Adjustment Bureau

Based on the short story Adjustment Team written by the late, great Philip K. Dick,The Adjustment Bureau is definitely one of the most romantic adaptations of his work.
What makes the romance in the film work is the electric chemistry of Matt Damon
as David Norris a politician aspiring to be a senator, and Emily Blunt as Elise an aspiring
dancer/choreographer.But they are kept apart by the aforementioned bureau who intend to guide the two away from each other.
The film starts off lighthearted and is quite humorous as David comes in contact with the
adjusters/angels portrayed with humor and class by John Slattery and Anthony Mackie.
I liked how the adjusters/angels attempt to keep David in the dark for the most part
but also keeping the audience in the dark. When David asks questions he's never truly given a solid answer, and thats what keeps the film interesting.
But of course when a film or a books subject is fate, destiny, free will your bound to run into a few plot holes and inconsistencies.I was also hoping for a bigger payoff at the end of the film.
But TAB is a very entertaining film with a strong love story,Damon and Blunt make you feel for their characters who make life altering choices all in the name of love

Remember Me

Teen angst/romance feeding off the Twilight crowd. Pattinson is actually a pretty good actor but he doesn't have much to work with here. The plot is predictable, the writing tries too hard, and the characters and relationships are shallow.

Fahrenheit 9/11

Yeah, I know everyone saw it back when it was topical, but I'm late to the party as usual. It's as biased as the right-wing news outlets it mocks, but politics aside, Moore is a very good filmmaker and it's informative and entertaining.

Raiders of the Lost Ark
Temple of Doom
Last Crusade
Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

Love watching these movies. They never get old.

"The Money Pit"

Fun but forgettable. I was amused to see the blonde henchman from "Die Hard" in this.

Ah, but dude!

The bathtub laugh!

The opera scene with Hanks going down the entire yard!

"Home crap home"

The stairs collapsing beneath Hanks.

Just all hilarious.
