Whats the next limewire?

Im not up to par but a lot of people are telling me limewire is obsolete but I have no idea whats good...or is limewire still the best?

Limewire dumps loads of viruses on your computer. Soulseek's not bad, never gave me any hassle. I don't fileshare anymore though, so I dunno.

I've never had a problem with Limewire itself it's the crap that people put into the files you want to download. I stick with bit torrents as my main source of downloading. People seem to be honest with what they are uploading.

Limewire is facing a multi-million dollar lawsuit. When Kazaa dealt w/ their personal indictment, they settled out of court, and they're trying to go legit.

LW is on the verge of following in that direction. At this point, they're non-responsive, but they'll eventually cave in to corporate pressure. Only a fool would stay on a site that was 'publicly' under investigation. . . unless you have portable hds and you don't mind destroying them.

I go to bestbuy, circuit city or if I'm in the area Spinstreet or Tower, to get CDs AFTER I download it first. If I like it and it's in the store, I buy it. If I don't like it, I delete the mp3s. If I like it and it's not in stores, I either keep it on my hard drive or burn it to CD.
