I was at a car show yesterday and they played an old doo-wop song and I can't for the life of me figure out what the song is.

There's a high-pitched falsetto guy that sings (in a very fast manner): laaa....la-la-la-la-la....la-la-la-la-la....la-la-la-la-laaa

Any musical gurus out there that knows what I'm talking about?

Aha...I found out what I was doing. I had mixed two songs in my head and thought they were the same. The first (doo-wop) song was "Little Darlin" by the Diamonds (which I found out earlier today). That was the song I had actually heard at the car show. The second was "Crocodile Rock," which I hadn't heard at the show but had somehow subconsciously mixed with "Little Darlin," becuase of the high-pitched "lalala"'s in both of the songs.
