Whats the worst story arc you've ever read?

For me it was ultimatum..never dislked a story as much ever...killed guys for no reason..and was kinda sick..but not in a cool marvel zombies kinda way..just really bad.

The Spider Clone Saga!
I cant believe i paid good money for that &^%$#@!! Plus it destroyed such as great story with The Jackal and Gwen and all that and started a whole slew of this crap is making my head hurt!!One day i am going to have a big bonfire with Marshmallows my neighbors might not be happy but i will.

i kinda liked ben reilly and stuff and his death was a shame i liked him being kinda petes brother and them fighting together but...the aunt may dying and not really being her was the most stupidest thing ever..it was such i good moment with the two parkers one inside with her and one secretly on the roof crying..then it turned out to be some friggin actress..what a bag of spam..

yeah but it turned into "Quark"( an old comedy sci fi show which had the clone and the original and the captain was always trying to figure out who was the clone and who wasnt). It was like Hey Pete! your whole life as you know it was a joke, cause Ben is the real one and all that, but then he wasnt the real one. BOO! and yeah the Actress Aunt May Definitely Boo for that man!

i just finished reading ultimatum tho..it was really sick..more blood and guts and cannibalism than there should be..ultimate comics really suck in comparison to the 616.

Honestly? Fraction's run on Punisher War Journal made me physically ill and pretty pissed. No respect or understanding for a character, cheesy and crappy dialogue, poorly executed ideas, and terrible art (Chaykin).

Also, Secret Invasion wasn't awful, but it was an pretty big let down and anti-climatic to boot.

I think it's actually a little vague of a question. What was the worst, as in apparent talent/story, or which did you actually hate the most. Sins Past is my least favorite story that can come to mind, but it wasn't necessarily the worst story arc ever. I am hard pressed to think of anything much worse than some of the Heroes Reborn stuff (Cap particularly comes to mind.) Ultimatum is also just terrible, I just don't/didn't care enough about those two to really be bothered by them.

Yes it's the arc... though it in no way revealed anything about Nightcrawler being Demonic. Apparently people didn't actualy read the story.


And for me it's OMD by far. I didn't like the art. Didn't like the ending or the repercussions of the ending. Didn't like the crap about how Dr. Strange or anything else couldn't save May when they most certainly could have. The only good thing that came out of that story was the Spidey/Iron Man confrontation that led to Jarvis' reaction to May's injury... though that ended up not being Jarvis at all but a Skrull... oh well.

Nightcrawler's father was a mutant that's been around since Biblical days and just claimed to be a demon. He was really nothing more than just a really old Mutant. That was confirmed in the arc itself but for some reason people jut keep clinging to it.

It wasn't the best story ever but it wasn't as bad as people say.

Civil War!? Really? I thought that was one of the best story in comics in years.



And One More Day for me. I thought that was easily the worst story EVER not only in comics, but ever. Worst story I've ever seen in any form ever.
