What's with G8/G20 protests?

Read small article at Toronto Sun. 60,000 people on a facebook page want a public inquiry up there about the cops. What is going up?!

As far as the protests...it is what they do, the problem is you have a few in the mix that take the protests to a criminal level, and unfortunately mob mentality sets in and the police have to take stronger measures to break these types of protests up.

Now to be fair, it is G-20, so technically speaking for safety concerns....they can I.D. you I imagine.

What the police did is questionable, but many of the idiot hooligans do far worse ****. It's what provokes these types of excessive responses. If you've been at the heart of these things (not just the Toronto G8/G20), you would know they like throwing their own feces at stores and breaking/harassing/ransacking private property (including small businesses). Bombing banks. The number. You know how many small business owners lost money because of this garbage?

I have very little sympathy for these protesters. I've personally seen what they've done in person.

Not all protesters though. And I'll admit, I don't know very much about the situation. If it were me, I'll be at home or what not. All it takes is a few protesters to have the police SWARM all protesters, peaceful or not.

Some of the idealogues are the anarchists who have absolutely zero respect to private property. I mean literally, it is part of their philosophical viewpoint. They are not like the libertarians like say Ron Paulites. This is why they have no problem trashing up small businesses. This is one of the biggest difference between libertarians and full blown anarchists.

Have you ever heard of "mob mentality" it is actually a sociological term....you need to read up on it, I can assure you the police have. It is scary as hell. You know when one dog attacks another, and then the whole pack ends up on the one dog....well, sociologists equate that with "mob mentality" and go as far as using the term "pack mentality" . It could be only 3 or 4 protesters, but once the **** starts flying, it can turn into 100s of protesters in seconds. Once people start tearing up business, etc....it turns usually quiet protesters into people that are destroying property within seconds....it happens all the time.

There's a documentary about all of the HIGHLY illegal crap the police pulled during the Toronto G20, and I'm not talking questionable here, I'm talking flatout breaking numerous points from the Charter of Rights (Canada's highest laws). For example, they have on video, a 57 year old amputee who wasn't even protesting (was walking through a park) and he was pinned by riot cops who pulled off his prosthetic leg (he was wearing shorts so they could see it was prosthetic) and then, as they dragged him away, they were hitting him.

Ignore the last 20 minutes of the movie (which is basically conspiracy theory assumptions), the entire rest of it is basically an hour and a half of footage of the cops doing blatantly illegal things over and over again.

Just absolutely insane. Made Toronto look like Nazi Germany.
