Frat boys should play pot smoking games instead of drinking games...they'll all just be like, "puff, puff, puff....puff....man, let's just go outside and count the stars."

Like I said, it's impossible to O.D. on pot. You'd just get tired and pass out if you smokes too much. And you wouldn't have the risk of throwing up and choking on your own vomit.

Rolling up some leaves and smoking them is far more natural than the process of creating alcohol in order to drink it.

The high you get from marijuana, as compared to alcohol, is also more natural feeling. It also doesn't completely incapacitate you and impair your judgement the way alcohol does. While you are technically 'high', you are still very much in control of your faculties. For example, though I wouldn't recommend it, you could still effectively drive a car while under the effects of marijuana. It doesn't distort your environment; rather, it enhances it in many ways.

Alcohol also tends to affect people in negative ways, such as making them violent or depressed when they otherwise wouldn't be. All that can be said about mary jane is that it's calming and relaxing. You certainly don't get into fist fights or get angry when smoking weed. But knock back a few shots and it's fair game.

And then there's the after effects. Unless you smoke an ungodly amount of marijuana, you probably won't have any "hang over" effects the next day. Maybe a sore throat, but probably not. But with alcohol, you can get alcohol poisoning and be sick for the entire next day and maybe even the day after that.

Of the two, it's alcohol that should be illegal - not marijuana.

    Lazur: great post

and yes, when we had our 2002 christmas party I drank insane amounts of all kinds of alcohol from approximatley 4pm up ultil 11am the next day, needless to say, I was totally incapacitated for a couple of days
one of the worse, if not the worst hungover I've had in my life

the time I smoked the most pot (a friend got a kilo bag from his cousin-don't ask how, I'd rather not know) the only problem I had was a severe ringing in my left ear and when I woke up, after being asleep for about eight hours, I felt as if I had just smoked it

besides, here's a little bit of information, your body self regulates the amount of THC it can tolerate, after your body has had enough, your own metabolism makes you either not want any more or just expels the excess in your body through vomit or defecation

    nature is cool

edit: oh, the ringing in my ear was due to the fact that I fell asleep next to the stereo speakers, which were blaring for a couple of more hours after I fell asleep

I think that, combined with all the drinking, actually caused me to lose my ability to do higher mathematics. I had to quit my math major after three years and finish a poli sci degree in one because of that.

For me, higher math is anything with three or more digits.

I actually do have trouble adding numbers with three or more digits in my head now, when I used to be able to do something like 1232899.239843299 + 324939.0003743003439 in my head on the spot. It was worth it though. That's just how much fun E was.

Well, I still had around a 3.75 GPA after three years. But when I got back from europe, I found that I just couldn't wrap my head around stuff that I used to be able to, so I had to call that quits.
