Do you have a favorite movie genre? I like most all genres, as long as they're well done; good script, directing, sets, music, etc. I wish there were more scary movies. Scary has turned in to 'horror.' Horror is too grisly. Grisly is bad. I like comedies, but currently they are dominated by talentless hacks; Will Ferrell, Adam Sandler, the Apatow/Rogen group.

They all suck. Action is fun if the director is capable of handling it. Drama .. is okay. I usually like Science Fiction and Adventures. Don't care much for musicals. War, Gangster, Historical .. not my favorite. If they are particularly well done, I'll go.

What do you like?

I'm kinda partial to anything.

I mean, I love horror movies with a passion. I am not going to go out on a limb and say I know everything about horror movies, because I don't. I learn something new whenever I look up horror films. But I love looking fr a flm that will really bother and disturb me on a deep level, frighten me. I've only found six or seven films that ever fit that description :P

Love comedies. Borat is a modern classic, and should be recgnied as work of art, lol! :P They are alot of bad comedies, as it is the easiest to screw up, next to horror.

Action is amazing if done right. It can be done wrong, too, but is great if done right.

I kinda have this opinion for all films, so there you go.

I'm mostly into action and sci-fi; comedies were my fave, but recent years have seen the majority of them reduced to nothing but sex and bathroom jokes. :(

I also enjoy dramas, but only when the film has an encouraging point. Most musicals suck (in my opinion), but I do enjoy some of the classics, like "The Music Man", "Mary Poppins", and "The Sound of Music". I also loved Joel Schumacher's "Phantom of the Opera".

Some of my favorite films include "Back to the Future", the "Terminator" series, Tyler Perry's stage plays and films, the 1995 "Three Musketeers" movie, and "The Man in the Iron Mask".

good comedy, sci fi, or action movie is hard to beat in my book. actually id have to say i love all types. horror films not so much as of late, they just bore me...

I enjoy all kinds, personal favorites are detective movies. Gangster films, noir :). Everything else comes after that, except I dont really enjoy romantic films

Horror, I love Adventure films too.

Comedy and Drama are my least favorite stand alone genres, they work great in genre-benders though.
