There's been countless interpretations of the batsuit over the years, each with varying details on every imaginable part of the costume, but what would you call your favourite version? Would it be a particular artist's take on the design, or would it be a blend of things that you've come up with yourself?

Personally my definitive Batman would have a dark grey bodysuit, the simple black logo, a black or reeeeeeeeeally dark blue cape and cowl, mid length ears, and a belt with pouches. So, basically a combination of these two toys...

... and the Arkham City suit. But what about you?

This is pretty much it... A mix of grey, blue, black, and yellow.

The one he rocked from shortly after No Man's Land to just a year or two ago.

Jim Lee's design there but with more emphasis on the cape, cowl and gloves and what not being black. In my opinion only midnight blue could work very well if there's to be any blue. Only in such a way as to pick up blue highlights under certain light.

Black and dark gray, with the simple black bat, mid-length ears, and perhaps a darker colored utility belt (brown, dark gray, black, et cetera).

Functionality be damned, I prefer the yellow oval and the capsule belt to the oval-less bat and the pouch belt. I prefer the cape, cowl, trunks, gloves and boots to be black rather than blue. I like the ears long but not ridiculously long like Kelley Jones draws them.

Black and gray, longish ears with the yellow Bat-badge and the cape hanging over the shoulders. Pretty much the Neal Adams look, minus the blue.

Comic book - Black / Grey and no undies, short to medium length ears.
Movies - All Black costume, para-military vibe, no yellow oval.

Physique, athletic but not overly muscle head type.

Where can I buy one of those!?

This is a great thread. It's very hard to choose but I'd have to go with the Grey armor and black cape and cowl costume. The Black and yellow suit isn't far behind. The worst has to be the suit of the Nolan trilogy.

Black-and-grey suit, black bat, classic long ears

Jim Lee/mid ninties-post 2000 type Batman costume

I said earlier that my definitive Batman costume would be black and gray with the yellow oval, but if I'm being honest, it would more or less be a more flexible version of the first Keaton suit.

My favorite suit from the films is Christian Bale's from "Batman Begins". Second in line would be Val Kilmer's first suit from "Batman Forever", then Keaton's from the 1989 original.

combine the torso from begins with the cowl from batman returns along with the begins cape and the '89 utility belt and you've got yourself a sick batsuit

And if the belt needs to look more functional, just put some pouches/square compartments on it between the capsules.

Blue/gray suit,gold bat-symbol/belt,longish ears.Basically as he looked in 70's comics.

I say

Year One/TDKR/BTAS
Arkham Asylum/City
