When are we getting a WW video game?

I suspect she won't get her own game. The days of universal tie-in video games are somewhat over. Or at least, tie-in games that aren't either *really* low end childrens' games for kids' movies, or else freemium games on Facebook or whatnot.

It has just gotten too expensive to pay for an underdeveloped game. It hurts the brand. I think the WB would rather have focus put on their brand of games that don't have some movie premiere deadline.

The only remotely similar thing to what you want would be Injustice 2 which has WW .

Even there she is just used as Supermans right hand love interest who would do anything for him. I hate her portrayal in Injustice.

They can easily create a game not related to the film franchise, ala Arkham series. My dream WW game would be some stylish action adventure with combo chains and weapon unlocking, something along the lines of DMC and Bayonetta. I mean if Bayonetta can do it, I don't see how WW isn't going to be something as badass, especially with a bigger studio backing, higher brand recognition, and currently being a hot property due to the film and DCEU.

Eff that! (Sorry I didn't mean you personally I meant if WB actually thinks that). I mean you would be mad not to make a Wonder Woman game, Green Lantern, Aquaman...the list goes on!

I would love that! To be honest I was just thinking of an iOS type game but that sounds wonderful. Gosh imagine all the cool dlc you could get with all of Diana's outfits? Original, perez run, movie costume, 1960s, the classic Lynda Carter look, different earth versions of Wonder Woman. Awesome!

Being fair, Aquaman and Green Lantern both have gotten games. . . terrible terrible games. The bias against superhero video games isn't *totally* irrational, there are a *lot* of terrible comic book licensed games ( and CBM licensed games ).

I'll assume that's sarcasm so not sick my wife and three daughters who are all gamers on you. ( real gamers Witcher, Skyrim, the tell tale stuff, Batman etc.)

In the DCU of comics, similar to Paradise Isle there are a number of other "hidden" societies similar to the Amazons, who are removed from the rest of the world due to some fantasy element. A WW game would benefit from using those out there locales as backdrops to a good story/game. Much more so than in a Batman game or even a Superman game, a WW game would not feel odd including some of these place as well as the obvious for a Wonder Woman game:

2. Themyscira
3. Gorilla City
4. Skartaris
5. Nanda Parbat
6. Atlantis
7. New Genesis
8. Apokalips


A Wonder Woman tale could easily be crafted that could include places like Atlantis, New Genesis or Skartaris. Add in elements of mythology alongside the super hero stuff? Winner, winner chicken dinner!

Huh, so use Themiscyra as the hub location, and then have several smaller sandboxes as regions you can visit. Though I'd be inclined to make at least a few of them locations in the modern world, like Gateway City or whatnot. After all, some of her more iconic villains are very much people of the modern world, as are allies who'd make great NPC questgivers. Shouldn't be all Ancient Godly Realms all the time, sometimes you need to get into a punching match with Giganta when she's trying to steal the Museum of Antiquity ( not rob the museum, steal the museum ).
