Personally i think they should show him in the first trailer, Hulk vs Abom is one of the movies biggest selling points and this first trailer needs to really deliver.

I think just a glimpse in the first trailer and maybe a little of the fight in the second (if there is a second trailer that is) Hype it up to the max. Make us Fan Guys salivate awhile and then in the second trailer (again,if there is one) just a longer glimpse. Generally, movies that show all the good stuff in the trailer don't have much more to offer. Show us a little and make us beg for more. Sorta like when you take your girl on a date. :oldrazz: :woot:

I think just a glimpse in the first trailer. Kind of how they showed Venom at the very end of the SM3 trailer.

a glimpse is all we need at this point.

I say the trailer should be just Abomination. Sort of like a nature/wildlife film that explores behavioral characteristics of endangered species to their fullest. Like, give us multiple angles of Abom so that there's nothing left for the imagination, only a whole lot of despair over the sight of all the destruction he's causing. Make us think he's a real-life entity presently destroying cities and coming for ours. Then, at the tail end of the trailer when it goes to black, have an image of Usama Bin Laden screened in the background behind "The Incredible Hulk - June 13, 2008" text so that we all equate Abomination with Usama, subconsciously. In the movie, have Abom defeat the Hulk so that we continue to be left in despair... just as many people are now, not having a trailer. That would be best IMO.

A quick glimps in the first trailer ala Iron Monger in the IM trailer. :abom:

Just a glimpse or it wouldn't be a "Teaser" If you show the Abom in full and even a lot of the fight between him and Hulk I believe you expose your trump card way too early. I say save the fight scene (or at least most of it) for the movie itself.

Maybe in the first trailer you can show abom and Hulk standing opposite each other about fight. But the camera should position behind Abom facing Hulk so you see the back of Abom while seeing the Hulk. And maybe they can roar and run to each other and just before a punch is landed there is darkness and the words invade the tv screen in bold green.

THE INCREDIBLE HULK

I read a while ago when they were still filming that they were shooting some scenes of Hulk and Abomination fighting which would be in a trailer. So I'm guessing we will see one short glimpse of Abomination fighting Hulk in the first trailer.

Well, let's see.

We still haven't even got a Hulk image from the MOVIE yet. Just artwork.

So, how about they give us a poster with Hulk and release an official Abomination image later or save him for the trailer.

Come on, movie hits in six months and no trailer or official poster actually SHOWING the Hulk from the movie in all his glory. Just concept art. This worries me.

Usually I'd be all for the slow reveal but this trailer is a bridge builder for the Hulk, after the Ang movie they need a trailer to really grab the mainstream, and Hulk and Abom laying it down will do that.

Not surprising, how reliable is the info Sarg ?

THE INCREDIBLE HULK

I love this idea, kinda like Kong and the T-Rex at the end of the first King Kong trailer.

Very reliable. It was an article saying that a certain street or something was going to be closed because they were filming scenes of Hulk and Abomination fighting which would be in a trailer.

Thanks. And yes something like King Kong. That way it gives you something to look forward to. Everybody wants to see the big climatic fight between the two unstoppable beasts, that alone should make people want to see the film, so I don't think there is any need to show much of the fight itself in detail. Just try to show the audience that "this fight is not something you wanna miss, but you have to come see it for yourself". That to me is the essence of a "teaser trailer"

I want just quick shots of Abomination and the Hulk for that matter, to build some anticipation. That Cloverfield trailer was good because nobody knew what it was. Even the first teaser for the Ang Hulk was great because until the end, the general audience had no clue what was going on. I remember the reaction to that in the theatre, and it was crazy! I'd love to see something similar to that again. I'm not even sure the general public is aware Norton is attached to this film, I know it would catch at least some by surprise to see his eyes light up and the Hulk bust through his clothes...

I Just want to say that I'm VERY upset that they will not be faithful to the way Abomination looks.
WHEN WILL THEY LEARN?:cmad:

This is driving me nuts. Why change the look? why fix what isn't broke.
All this will do is alienate people (who know him) from the character.

even if the rest of the movie is good, having him look different will take a bit away from the overall movie, the same way the look of the GG took just a bit away from Spider-man.

my question is WHY?

My hopes for this movie were high, but now,, after reading the wizard interview, doubts are creeping right back in.

I kind of expected some kind of change to Abomination from day one. We'll just have to wait and see how extensive those changes are, I guess.

Well LL said he is not going for the reptilian look so just imagine it as it is a different artist's drawing for a comic which has the Abomination. He is going to look different but still be recognizable as the Abomination.

I'm thinking he is gonna kinda look like this but WAY MORE UGLY!!!

hey, at least he's not a cloud, right? :ff:

I love it, it's just like his initial appearance. He WREAKED the Hulk, practically killed him. Only Banner's power siphon weakened down to Hulk's level. It is way past time to bring the original back to peak level, like all the old Frankenstein sequels. "I must see him at full strength, if only once!"

Anyway I'm sick of the Hulk kicking his arse all the time. Hulk should be afraid of the Abomination unless he is fully enraged. My 2 cents

A brief glimpse in the first trailer would be best imo. Just a quick look, nothing too detailed but enough for the audience to see that this new monster isn't the Hulk and realise they are in for the mother of a heavyweight slug-fests.
