I hear there is one more Crisis coming up entitled "Final Crisis". Correct me if I'm wrong.

There is a Final Crisis .. no idea what they are going to name it thou..

Does DC think this is what we really wanna keep reading about? I'd like for them to move on, please.

did you make a thread in the marvel section aswell?

" When will Marvel stop milking the whole War thing?"
Secret War.. two even!, Evolutionary War, Infinity War, Civil War, World War Hulk.. too many wars..

both companies will quit doing it as soon as people don't buy the product.

which is unlikely. can't fault them for trying to make money. lots of artists water down their material or tailor it to find the largest possible number of patrons. it does affect the stories, sometimes negatively, sometimes positively. as consumers, we have demonstrated that the big "events" draw big sales numbers.

Nope, I didn't but now that I think about it, they do have alotta wars. I guess it didn't bother me as much because I'm not an avide Marvel reader as much as I am with DC, but they way they've been lately that just might have to change.

They wont stop "milking it" until people stop buying it. It's just that simple. Doesn't matter though. Whine all you want, you'll buy it, or wait with baited breath for spoilers after every issue comes out. It's pointless. Everything is in the end. It's just Superhero comics.

LOL!

They'll stop when they're finished. Maybe after this one. Maybe not. I like it, personally. I think the books are much more thought out today, than past events, so I find them more intriguing. And when it gets to be too much? I'll back off for a while, like I have w/Marvel.

As Marvel continues to kick DC's butt they are going to hang on to the only thing they got going on that will create any interest.

its a tiny village with like 300 people living there.. why would i want to go there?
I know their's a Hell on grand Cayman, it's a tourist trap they sell the "I went to Hell and all I got was this stupid T-shirt" things. I figured this place had the same thing.

Because Hell makes good food. I live about an hour away and that one little restaurant was worth the trip.

Who knows, perhaps it will be good/great. Identity Crisis was awesome, Infinite Crisis was so-so or some view not so good, 52 was awesome, and Countdown lately has sucked. I guess the big event thing has a cycle so hopefully this won't be crappy. :ninja:

Busiek's writing it, so that's more promising than another Johns-scripted Crisis, at least. Of course, Busiek's track record at DC is nowhere near as good as his record at Marvel...

Which wasn't that bad. Actually, it was pretty good and he introduced a number of good aspects to the CSA world. Like a Justice League made up of bad guys like Grundy and a badass Riddler.

To be honest,i think DC is doing what Marvel is doing.Doing events to make readers spend more.

They'll stop the moment I decide to become a truly nice person.
