When will Nick actors get a break?!

I was just having this conversation with a friend. Most of these Disney actors are famous now. Lindsay Lohan, Hilary Duff, Shia Lebauff, etc. Yet what happened to all the Nick actors?! Melissa Joan Hart (Clarissa Explains It All) disappeared after the Sabrina show. Pete & Pete vanished. The cast of Salute Your Shorts vanished except for Donkey Lips. There are sightings! Kenan & Kel are just a disgrace now. Kenan is on a crappy season of SNL. Kel is like doing Pepsi commericals. And who's left? Amanda Bynes? No one cares about her!

So when are Nick actors gonna get a break?

Kenan was in snakes on a mother ****ing plane :) Working with Sammy Jackson, seems pretty good to me!
 
I think that one girl from Unfabulous is playing Nancy Drew.:huh:
 
Little Pete is in a band. Michelle Trachtenberg is doing well. Blake Sennett is in Rilo Kiley. Kenan may be in a crappy season of SNL, but SNL is still one of the best breaks a comedian could ask for.
 
I guess they've grown up to be well adjusted adults?
 
I'd gladly take even the crappy seasons of All That in place of today's bland SNL offerings.

Kenan's wasting his time on that show, I think. I'd rather a Good Burger 2 than to watch him totally out-funny every other member of the SNL cast for the hundredth time.

I agree wholeheartedly with this thread btw. It just doesn't seem fair that the more talented actors from Nick are mostly still doing tv shows or nothing much else to this day.

You do realize we know this is just yours or some regurgitated uneducated opinion of someone else's....just so'z you know.
 
the actors on nick now suck...its all like middle school shows that focus on how to be cool in school...its all my brother watches...hes 8 and he thinks they are the coolest shows...at least sponge bob is funny!

He never presented it as anything but his opinion...so what's your point? Also, how does calling a season of SNL crappy constitute an uneducated opinion?

Looks like somebody took the SNL criticism up the @$$.:hyper:
 
Where the hell is Lori Beth Denberg?! That girl is too funny to not have work.
 
i remember all the original All That Shows, with the original members! Those were great! those were the days....
 
They should really cancel SNL.

That way, people would actually miss it, and when NBC gives in and puts it back on the air, it's re-launch might attract, gee, I don't know, some TALENT.
 
well in all fairness the only one to really go anywhere has been bynes, shes hilarious... "she's the man" really is a great movie. and melissa joan heart co-owed her own production studio with her mom "heartbreak prodctions" where they produced sabrina. she made pretty good money from both sabrina and clarissa,michelle tractinberg was on a huge show... buffy, and did great in eurotrip, larissa olynec though is who i really miss. shes done a few movies, 10things i hate about you, 100 girls, and was on 3rd rock from the sun, and the short lived Pepper Denis. I like her though, would love to see her more. O' and mike o-malley who was the host of guts is on yes dear

Okay, I enjoyed that movie for what is was worth, which wasn't much. I don't think it qualifies as a 'great' movie, and it appealed to a very young, limited audience.
 
they didn't have to be young.. but if you enjoyed Mean Girls.. you'd enjoy She's the man... you don't have to be young, but i have a broad range of comedy...
 
The only relatively good show on Nickelodeon for kids today is "Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide". The whole cast on that show is so funny and the writing is good to despite the physical 'jim carrey' like humor. Plus, the show teaches good lessons to kids about doing well in school and be yourself.

To me it's like Scrubs for kids.

which band is li'l pete in. i miss the **** out of that show. endless mike was in sin city and big pete was in slackers.
