That's assuming the sneak peak is, in fact, a trailer. I'm more inclined to think it'll be a video blog or a behind-the-scenes look of some sort.

A couple of months ago, Jackson said the trailer would hit during the summer. My guess is Man of Steel.

The first Two Towers trailer came out in March at the end of FOTR's theatrical run. It was attached to some of the late prints, and ran 3 minutes. (You can find this trailer as an easter egg on the FOTR Extended Edition DVD) This thing coming out March 24 is very likely a trailer.
